Timber Wood Ski Rack

This ski rack is perfect for our cross country skis.

This ski rack looks nice, but the anchor in the wood dowels become loose and no longer support the skis. They are good about sending replacements, but they ultimately fail as well. The design and materials are just not robust enough to hold up.

Simple but works well. Bought 2.

This ski rack is useless and poorly designed, in my opinion. Easy enough to install, but as soon as I hung 1 pair of adult skis between the "pegs", flared out and loosened up. So I removed the rack and looked from behind. What they did was drilled out the center of the peg (from the back side), and inserted metal female threaded anchor. then there is a bolt that threads into the molly. Well the molly just spins which in turn has the pegs flopping and not able to support a pair of skis. I had something similar years ago. What I'm going to do now is remove the metal molly and try using a 3/8" lag screw, so that the screw is actually screwing into the wood peg. If that doesn't work, I'll use it as kindling for my fireplace. Note: I had purchased 2 of these. The other one I have snowshoes hanging from the pegs-Those have been holding, but again, for adult skis-I would not recommend. I'll add a picture when I'm back at my ski house

The screw holes did not match the spacing of the studs in the garage. So we just installed it with two instead of three screws.

I first received the product and the pegs wouldn’t align properly. Custer service was great and replaced it within a few days. The second rack’s pegs were much more aligned but still not perfect. The pegs don’t fit within the pre drilled holes so they sit awkwardly above them and sometimes one corner slightly sinks into the hole at an angle. Over happy with the product since it’s hidden in my apartment.

Unfortunately this rack only lasted 1 season before 3 of the 4 holders broke. The pegs simply don’t last and in case, a peg failed and the skis landed on my car.

I finally was able to purchase this ski rack after looking at several. It holds 4 sets of skis, nice and neat.

This ski rack is perfect for my needs. It was easy to install. I would caution you to make sure to leave enough space from the cieiling, as nowadays the skis are wider, and will need to lift the ski higher to catch hold on the rack. I installed the rack myself a little too close to the ceiling. It still works fine though. I do recommend this product.

Leider wurden die Montageschrauben nicht mitgeliefert und auch im Nachhinein nicht bereit gestellt, so dass ich keine andere Möglichkeit habe als den Artikel zu retournieren.

2 pegs broken..paid $90+..couldn't even hold skis without breaking

The pegs are too short and flimsy to support wider skis or skis that have any early rise at the tip. One of the pegs arrived chipped, but the real problem is that they splay apart and the skis fall forward away from the wall. I need to use a strap to keep my skis together or else they come apart on the wall and fall down. Might be fine for kids skis or nordic skis, but this rack is not suitable for downhill or backcountry skis.

A bit pricey but well made and it looks good on the wall.
