PURAXDeodorant Cream - Deodorant Cream with Aloe Vera, without Aluminium and Alcohol (1 x 80 g)

I really like this. It's difficult to describe the consistency, solid in the tin but becomes powdery as you rub it in. There is a very faint scent but not enough to be noticeable or to trigger sneezing or headaches which is a problem for me with most deodorants. And it works!

The main reason this was obtained was to avoid single use or similar plastic waste. This item does not seem to be made of plastic, it’s all in a metal can.The content is a waxy, hard cream, harder than butter that doesn’t melt on the fingers. Unfortunately, it’s quite solid at about 16C but in the 20s you can get enough of it using an index finger to rub under the armpits. Getting enough to rub under the arms at low temperature could be the challenge which is why such products are not as “accessible” as sprays or roll-ons that tend to rely on plastic.In a tropical climate this should not be a problem at all, and at least the quantity obtainable is correlated with temperature, given we sweat more, when the weather is warmer.The scent is mild, weak and not zingy, I prefer the stronger smells in the rival product Hippy Paste, now rebranded marketed by Earth Concious.The one thing that makes this worthwhile is that there’s a good quantity to last a year or so, though I’ve yet to evaluate consumption.The melting temp of the formula to make it easy to obtain by finger needs attention or advice to the consumer. Cheaper than other plastic free alternatives.

I really thought I’d discovered the holy grail of antiperspirants when I discovered this product - a replacement for Arrid extra dry cream that actually works! For the first few weeks of use, this worked a treat, but then I gradually began to develop a rash and painful abscesses in my pit area. After disconnecting use of this product, the rash went, but came back immediately when I resumed use again. I suspect the problem is with the sodium bicarbonate found in Purax, as I’ve subsequently had issues with another antiperspirant that I’ve tried that also had it as an ingredient. A great product for non sensitive sorts, but for me, it’s unusable.As for my ongoing search for an antiperspirant that works for me, Kiehls deoderent cream is great, if a little expensive.

I have a sweating problem as soon as I come out of the shower. I have tried all the crap there is out there.Let me tell you that this is the best. Even after a long run there is no bacterial smell at all.This will even last you till the next day. This product is well formulated and I would not hesitate to recommend. effective natural deodorant that I’ve bought on repeat for seven years as it’s cruelty free and vegan and it works. But the recent eye watering price increases are too much. A month ago this went from £7 to £10.99. I bought it reluctantly. Now just a few weeks later they have put price to nearly £17 and there is also less product in the tin.This is not inflation, this is greed.I cannot justify this spend so they have lost a regular customer.

A very good deodorant, it's a little hard, but I roll it into little balls and put it back in the tin for when I need it, just roll the balls between my fingers till soft, then use,,, easy, great value for money, mine has lasted 8 weeks, I will be buying again.

Like others who wrote that they’re trying it due to arris cream not available, I have found this one not to be that great. It’s not summer yet but while having my walks it doesn’t works well and I’m not normally sweating a lot. It’s hard to rub in and as said, somewhat grainy so makes it unpleasant to put-on.I will not, definitely not, buy it again. Miss arid very much and hope soon it will be back for sale here.

I LOVE this product. I hate sprays and roll ons and have been searching for a plastic free alternative and this is 100% the answer. Keeps me fresh all day and has a very mild scent, if any. Great on sensitive arm pits and aluminium free

L’ho accostato per mio compagno che sia tantissimo, da quanto usa questo prodotto sia meno, non macchia le camicie e resistente pure il suo profumo delicato. Top

Deze deodorantcreme werkt net zo goed als die van de andere merken die ik gebruikt hebt. Ook die crèmes begonnen korrelig maar zijn nu glad van structuur zodat het beter smeert en geen korrels op de grond vallen. Dat is bij deze crème een minpuntje.

El producto es de 10, me ha dado un resultado increíble, fuera sudor, fuera olor y duración larguisima, super contenta con el resultado, la primera aplicación debes coger un poco más de normal pero luego se utiliza muy muy bien. Un 10!

Adopter par toute la famille (homme, femme et ados) depuis très longtemps, il est super efficace.L’application aux doigts est un peu « embêtante »  mais vite oublié quand on voit les effets !!!Nous n’en changerons plus c’est sûr

Dies ist eine Alufreie Deocreme auf Bicarbonat Basis, die zähe Paste trägt man nach dem duschen auf und wartet bis sie eingezogen ist. Das funktioniert nun so, das der Bio Nährboden für Bakterien im Schweiß entzogen wird, man schwitzt aber es riecht nicht und das ganze hält locker 24 Stunden an. Beim duschen merkt man erst wie gut die Paste sitzt, sie muss eine Zeit mit Seife einwirken um sich wieder zu lösen.Die Paste ist beinahe geruchs neutral und verursacht auch keine Hautreizungen bei mir. Unpassend finde ich nur die Aludose, denn genau das will man ja gerade nicht haben.
