Impressed with these stairs
At first, my elderly 55 lb terrier/lab was not so sure about these. The short depth of the stairs and the height seemed to puzzle and worry him. It took some time to get used to and with a little modification he seems to be happy with them and navigate them comfortably. I ended up removing the top step foam piece which made the new top step much deeper - more like a stair landing. He likes it better this way. I am impressed with the density of the foam. The wide width for a larger dog seems to add a feeling of safety. The stairs are sturdy and attractive. I hope your pet finds these helpful.

Sturdy yet Soft for Arthritic Joints
Easy assembly. Sturdy, so dog feels secure running up or down the steps. Surface is soft, rather than hard plastic, so easier for our elderly dog's joints. Would like to see color options in the future.

After some training, it works!
***Update after a couple of years: I now own 3 sets of Zinus stairs (2 L and 1 XL) and about to purchase another small one to place next to the sofa. EXCELLENT QUALITY. Keep training your dog, do not give up. Eventually your stubborn dog will use them on their own. TRUST THE PROCESS. It will happen. These work! My dog is 70ish pounds and was VERY hesitant at first. Well, he was simply not going to even try it. VERY stubborn! He did not like it at all lol. We had to use treats and really push him to go up before he got a treat. About a month into doing this regularly, he will use these steps now on his own. We slide it next to the backseat of our SUV and he goes up. He does get nervous, because it is a soft surface that flexes a little with each step. However, he is use to it now and it works. I do wish there were handles on each side to easily pick up and carry. That’s really the only down side. If I was going to perfect this item, I would add handles for the sides AND I would make the top step a hard board so the dog can easily push off or spring off of something firm to get up in the backseat of the SUV easier. Although it works as is. The fabric can be unzipped if extra cleaning is needed. It seems to be very well made. I am impressed with the quality. I looked at buying a ramp, but those are too wide to fit inside the car door of my SUV. So freestanding steps really were my only option. I have ordered another one to push against my bed. I tried carrying from room to garage and vice versa, but without the handles it gets annoying. So I just bought another one. I have the XL and L. There is not much difference in the size of these two but the price difference is significant. You may only need the L for a bigger dog. Save yourself some money and get the L instead of the XL. Be patient, it will take some training and eventually your best friend should use it on their own. My dog is brilliant lol and super stubborn with tons of personality. He learns everything almost instantly. He rejected this for a while. Then one day we found him laying on the bed. That guy waited until we were not in the room begging him to go up the stairs and he was doing it all along by himself in private lol. Little turkey, he tricked us. It took about a month or so, but it works. Do not give up!

Helpful for my dog
It was easy to assemble. It's sturdy but soft which is what I wanted. I have it set up next to my couch on carpeting and it doesn't move at all. I was worried that my dog who likes to launch herself onto the couch might make it move around but no, it stays nicely in place. My only issue with it is that the stairs are so short that my dog gets a bit confused on how to get up the top step, so I took out the foam piece which is the top step and smoothed out the fabric that contained the foam piece and it's easier now for my dog.

Can foam pet stairs be classy??
My parents' 15lb dog has an injured back and should no longer be jumping on the couch or the bed. I bought them the large version of these for their bed and they liked them so much I came back for the smaller size for the couch. The low, deep steps really set them apart from other foam pet stairs! We got different ones initially but sent them back because they were just too steep for the dog to go up comfortably. The foam on the original set has held up perfectly and still feels brand new after more than two years. Not sure if that would be different if a much larger dog was using them, but the 15lb dog hasn't impacted them at all.I joke about them being "classy" but it's true somehow. The grey cover has a very high quality feel to it that other similar options I've had in the past just didn't have. They fit well with the decor in the bedroom and the living room. They are a bit pricier than some of the similar products but when accounting for how well they hold up and that they still look great after years of use, they're totally worth it to us.

Best stairs I’ve tried!!
So the stairs I was previously using for my dogs were no longer working well. My older one isn’t as strong as she used to be and I’m pretty sure has arthritis. She had gotten to where she would no longer use the stairs and would wake me up in the middle of the night to pick her up. Well several times a night of this and I was ready to find a solution. So the first stairs I tried for them was horrible. The younger used them but I could hear that he bangs his legs or something on the way up and the older one...well she was terrified when I tried to get her on there. They were made of plastic and just not the right fit for them. I thought they looked sturdy so I thought that would be good. But they were somewhat wobbly and didn’t feel secure. It was called ”Solvit PetSafe PupSTEP Plus Pet Stairs, Foldable Steps for Dogs and Cats, Best for Small to Medium Pets.” I returned those. Then I got this one in the mail and once I opened it and put it together (which took like 5 seconds, super easy) I knew they were going to work!!! Let me just say, they are amazing!!!! I ordered the large size because I wanted something that was pretty close to the top of my bed so the dogs wouldn’t be frightened. Both dogs took to them right away...a tad bit of hesitation from the older one but that’s to be expected with her. But after one try, she did it no problem. If she is able to use these stairs, any dog that’s somewhat fearful and anxious should have no problem. They work great. The foam is nice and firm yet soft enough to feel comfortable for them. Absolutely happy I purchased them.

Me encanta, es la segunda que compro y cumple 100% además de que ayuda a que mi perro no se lastime las patitas.

Just right
I bought them for my aging cat so she could get up on the bed and she seems to love using them. Easy to move them around as needed.

I've bought 2
Perfect little stepladder for our 6-lb Pomeranian who needs a little help getting up onto the couch/bed! The foam interior makes it easy to move around and we love the removable/washable cover. Sturdy enough that he's never slipped on it, but lightweight enough that we're not tripping over it or stubbing our toes. Would recommend this product.

Great pet stairs!
We love these stairs for our Yorkie (he is about 10 lbs). We have a total of 3 in the house and he’s able to hop on couches and our bed by himself. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Added a picture of the beige colored stairs as well. I definitely prefer the gray/blue color.

Sturdy Lightweight Stairs
This is a great product. It is firm enough that the stairs don’t fold under my dog’s weight. I move the stairs back and forth from the couch to my bed easily because they’re so light weight, but since they are such great quality I decided to buy another set so my dachshund can get wherever he wants whenever he wants. Would totally recommend to anyone with a dachshund or an older pet with limited mobility. It took no time for my dog to learn how to use them.
