Honey House Naturals Bee Bar, Lavender, Large, 2 Ounce

OK, I am a dude with a newer skin problem that popped up over the last two years on my hands. I have eczema or some kind of contact dermatitis that has not totally healed or resolved since my first area of irritation. My skin on my hands and knuckles would dry, flake or peel, to the point that where the cracks are were bleeding and very painful. I have tried every kind of lotion, cream, medicated and non-medicated out there. Yes, the Gold Bond, Noxzema, Neutrogena, Eucerin, hydrocortisone, and every other kind of healing creams that are 12-15 dollars for a small tube out there. They have helped very little until a co-worker, recommended this product. This is the first product that after just two days now, I am seeing fantastic results. I bought three tins in different scents and I like the Vanilla or the Hawaiian the best. Although the sweet honey smells good, but more florally than I would like for a guy. I don't have a greasy feeling once I get a generous amount applied but it does take a bit (like all others) to "soak" in before touching things like cell phone screens don't leave greasy marks. This product is as good or better than most concern the greasy feeling. This is a wonderful product and I will have a tin ready for use at home, work etc, from here on out. You better buy some before I buy it all out.

I bought this for a 22 day trip to the Grand Canyon. This salve saved my hands from cracking and drying out! I love the natural ingredients and they smell great.

I absolutely love this stuff! Works way better than any lotion! Especially on the feet! I even buy the small ones for my purse. You just don’t want to put it on your feet right before wearing flip flops and walking in dusty areas as the dirt will stick to your feet cause this stuff is so great! lol

I had initially purchased one of thew while camping from a store I believe in Benezette a few years back. It was a total lifesaver, a lotion that didn't irritate my hands, a strong, soothing vanilla scent, a deeper yellow in color, quickly warmed up with touch for a smooth application, and overall a product I was thoroughly in love with. That bar itself was 5 stars. Since then, I have ordered once through their website and once through Amazon, again both 2 oz vanilla bars. I've been slightly disappointed with my past two orders, which are lighter in color than my original one was, smell a bit stronger of beeswax, and less like vanilla than my initial one did. At first, I'd wondered if I'd mistakenly gotten a different scent as it smelled so different than my original (which I do have the tiny remains of). My third bar smelled as the second. I keep one of my newer bars at work and one at home, as they are, truly, the only thing that protects my hands in the winter and keeps them from getting too dry and cracking too bad. They even work over my eczema patches without irritating them. Both newer bars don't slide on as easily, it seems to take them longer to warm to a melting point against the skin I guess? Maybe from more wax? I don't know if the formula changed, or if I got a bar at first that was just a fluke mixed differently, but my older bar definitely had a stronger vanilla smell right of the bat, melted against my skin when rubbing over my legs easier, and was a bit darker in color. Either way, these are still through and through an awesome product, I just wish my newer two bars were as exceptional as the first (and I'm really hoping that maybe they'll have a stronger vanilla scent when I finish the outside edge of the bar and get closer to the center.) I'm kind of down to have gone from such an exceptional product to a slightly less exceptional one, though they definitely are way better than any other lotion I've tried, and I'm obviously still coming back for more!

Functionality, this is amazing. Bought for air travel so I could eliminate a liquid item. Makes my hands soft and luscious like no lotion ever has. However, the smell is not pleasant to me. I don't get vanilla at all. It almost gives me faint mink oil vibes.

I purchased this as a gift for my niece for Christmas, and today it was decided, this was overwhelmingly the “best” gift of the day! We have several hard working individuals that all have very rough hands and everyone absolutely loved it! We will be ordering more!

I work at a barn and my hands get very dry and cracked in the winter... enough so that the fingerprint scanner on the time clock won't recognize my print anymore! This stuff is great. I've tried other products like the Working Hands and Burts Bees, but the Bee Bar is the best. It's a little tricky to put on if it's cold out but once your hands warm up the bar it goes on. I imagine if you kept it on you or in your pocket it might be easier but I just have it in a cabinet in my un-heated barn. The texture/how it feels on your hands is nice too and they really feel moisturized and protected. I put on after washing my hands. It sort of makes your hands water resistant too which is good for me when dealing with horse water buckets etc as the constant wet/dry/wet/dry seems to take a toll on my hands. It'll come off with soap though. I've also tried the Bee Butter which is good as well - great for feet - but I like the feeling and protection of the Bar better for my hands. The bar is small but it lasts a surprisingly long time. I think my first one lasted nearly a year (granted, I don't use as much in the summer/humid months) Try it!

Absolutely in love with this! Received one as a gift about 6 years ago and pulled it out again recently, with all the pandemic handwashing my hands are dead. I have dyshidrotic eczema, this is not a cure and the eczema is under control for the most part, this is one of the few products that doesn't irritate and provides relief. I was surprised that after years in a drawer, the bar was still good as new, no gross old smell that lotions get. Ordered a new one before the old one was used up so I was able to compare, the old bar was just as good as the new one. It's not greasy or sticky, the scent is lovely and not overwhelming. I love that you only use as much as you need instead of getting a big squirt of goopy lotion. I'll definitely continue buying!
