Very close to the real deal, but are they really worth the money?
I took a chance and bought the case of 6 here on amazon instead of trying out a box from whole foods. I'm glad I did. They taste pretty close to the real thing, in my opinion. The texture of the dough was really wet, though, and would not take to cutting out shapes, but after refrigerating the dough for a bit, it made it easier to roll out and cut out Christmas cookie shapes to decorate. The best thing is, they are produced on a dedicated facility, dairy free and wheat free, so you can be sure they are safe - even for peanut allergies. At $5.90 per box (plus a steep shipping fee, $11.59, c'mon, really????), they are quite expensive and each box only makes about a dozen round cookies. Still, if this is your only alternative to making sugar cookies from scratch yourself (which I'd recommend trying if you are cost-conscious - check out Gluten-Free on a Shoestring: 125 Easy Recipes for Eating Well on the Cheap for a from-scratch sugar cookie recipe that costs about half of one of these boxes), it may be worth the expense for those special occasions (birthdays, Christmas, etc.).

Yummy and looked great
Very please with this mix. We learned a few things to improve it with each batch. Make the cookies a little on the thick side. They will become crunchy on the inside and chewy still in the middle. They did not spread while in the oven so that was good for using cookie cutters. If your oven gets hot in the back, flip the tray around half way through cooking so the back ones don’t burn. We found taking them out two mins earlier than the package said and letting them finish cooking on the hot cookie sheet helped prevent browning. We are celiac, milk, egg and peanut due to allergies.

Tastes Great
These cookies taste great. I couldn't find any GF sugar cookies at home so I ordered these. My kids loved them and couldn't tell the difference.

Gluten free sugar cookies
Not bad. The taste is slightly "off". I tried rolling the dough in cinnamon and sugar, like a snickerdoodle, and that helped.

Great item
I have a son with multiple life threatening food allergies, and these cookies are a life-saver. I don't know how many times I've pulled out this mix to make cookies to decorate at school parties, etc. Actually, last year I used multiple boxes to make over 200 cut-out Christmas cookies for a school and church party. No one knew or could tell that these were "special" cookies, and we used Cherrybrook Kitchen Vanilla icing (colored) and sprinkles to do the whole "Christmas Cookie" thing. These are perfect!

Will not buy again
I accidentally got the wheat/gluten free version of these cookies. I typically buy the dairy/egg free/peanut free. The consistency of the batter if extremely dry and the cookies barely come off the baking sheet. They barely have a taste. I buy this brand a lot for my son who is deathly allergic to Dairy & Eggs. This product was an extreme disappointment

Love the ease of rolling out this gf dough. No need for parchment paper. Excellent taste. Expensive.
