Big fan of Rosle pieces. This one is a good example of great quality and design

I had one of these many many years ago and lost it, and spent years looking for its equal as a replacement. Could not remember the brand name and all I could find were stamped steel. Finally found Rosle again and I will not lose this one and it will last several lifetimes.

Hook in handle is so much easier to hang than trying to get a small hole over a small hook. Wonder why this is the only brand I found with this feature. Pity it's so expensive.

I am not sure about the other reviewer, but I purchased this pasta fork in June 2010 and it was both 18/10 Stainless and made in Germany. The heft and quality of this piece is very high. I somewhat like a longer oval head versus this round head, but it does the job well regardless - I just don't think it catches as much as an oval head does (I would give it a 4 for usability and a 5 for quality). However, since it is getting harder to find well made utensils from countries like Germany, I would highly recommend this. I would note that Rosle has been moving a lot of its manufacturing operations to China, and it wouldn't surprise me if the rest of their lines - including this - go as well. Yet, in its current form, this is a high-quality stainless steel utensil which feels great in the hand and is very functional in use.

The quality of this spoon cannot be overstated... HIGHLY RECOMMEND... it is worth the price!

I am a chef and have soft spot for spoons this one is nicely made, good size for cooking and plating

after 4 years of ownership, i still love this for stirring stews and scraping the bottom of an oatmeal pot or chili cook. it looks just the same as when i bought it. easy to clean! the hooked end does get caught in a jar full of other long utensils whenever i pull it out. (i personally don't like putting the spoon side down.) so now i hang it on the door of one of my cabinets. not only does it hang nicely from that hooked end, but i use a wine cork (screwed in) to stop it from swinging to and fro. i only added the cork recently after noticing that the strong spoon was creating a groove in the cabinet door. yes, it's that strong.

C'est de la très belle qualité allemande. Ces ustensiles sont réalisés dans un métal épais. Le prix peut apparaître un peu élevé, mais la qualité se paie (Acheter bon marché coûte cher car ne dure pas dans le temps... el le coût de deux bricoles sera finalement plus cher qu'un seul de qualité qu'on gardera toute sa vie). La longueur avoisinne les 30cm, ce qui est un peu court et est donc réservé à un usage domestique. Pour un usage professionnel mieux vaut songer à des longueurs plus grande 45 à 48cm qui permettront d'accéder au fond des grandes mamites traiteur).

Since it is a single piece of stainless steel it is very easy to clean. The spoon is great for cooking. I really like this minimal design, and it occupies less space in a drawer if you can't hang it.

Matière de qualité et : - il y a un trou pour doser les spaghetti en son centre - en plus de ce fait elle permet de récupérer des oeufs durs après cuisson sans se brûler et sec ( le trou évacuant l'eau ) . Louche multifonction astucieusement bien pensée .

Since it is a single piece of stainless steel it is very easy to clean. The spoon is great for all kinds of pasta, except for the small macaroni and the tiny ones like lettres, stars and dots. I wish the hole in the center was a bit smaller so I could catch the small macaroni at least. Besides the small macaroni, I almost always cook pasta that I can catch with this spoon, so it is still a great item. I have another utensil that I can use to catch the tiny ones, which I rarely cook. I really like this minimal design, and it occupies less space in a drawer if you can't hang it.
