I am going to make my own next time from activated charcoal, coconut oil, pink salt and bicarb of soda with a little peppermint flavour. I wish they would list the ingredients then I would be more confident using it.

So, why use a black, charcoal toothpaste? It sounds like it runs against logic when you say this would make your teeth whiter, but it generally does. Also, it is mintier than most other pastes I have tried.Why does it make teeth whiter? It contains organic ingredients rather than fluoride, peroxide, bleach, sugar and triclosan. The black charcoal serves to absorbs impurities, making brushing a very foamy experience.Only drawback is the price, which is several hundred percent more than what you might otherwise pay.However, the experience is good, and the benefits are quickly noticeable.

Overall I've seen slight changes whilst using this toothpaste, teeth are looking whiter.But the 'minty' taste of this toothpaste is lacking, you can hardly tell it is there. Plus, the price of this toothpaste is quite expensive when compared to other brands.
