DOES NOT WORK!! Epson WARNS AGAINST USING THIS!!
Bought this bulb and although it looks identical to the old bulb - it just would not fit.I tried and tried everything, but it just would not go in all the way.I call Espon, and they asked me about the bulb and when I said it was from "Electrified" the tech said "Oh... That's not one of our bulbs... don't use that... it's not going to work... they take cheap bulbs and modify them to work in our projectors, but we strongly recommend that you don't use those"Nothing worse than blowing a bulb and not being able to rely on the replacement.Yikes!!

These people are crooks!
Purchased exact ELPLP65 for my Epson 1761W to carry as a backup. When needed bulb wouldn't fit even though it looked exactly like the old one!. Had to spend $320 on new bulb directly from Epson and projector rental.I have asked for a refund from Amazon. If I don't get one I'll have to find other places to buy than Amazon in the future.

DO NOT BUY
Horrible. Buyer beware. This bulb melted in my projector ruining the bulb and the projector. I am very unhappy. What a waste of money.

DO NOT BUY FROM ELECTRIFIED
This bulb was horrific. It did not fit into the projector at all. Looks similar but carelessly made with inadequate attention to detail. The bulb, if legitimate, will have a side panel with "Epson" etched into it and this one did not. It claims to be Epson quality, truth be told it is not. My husband ended up spending nearly three hours taking the power supply plug from the old lamp housing and attaching it to the new bulb. A clamp was also missing from the top. After constructing this new bulb, our projector did work for a brief time however now the bulb is already going out and we have watched less than 100 hours. When I spoke with customer service representatives from Electrified they did not seem to care about the low quality of their product and their vice president of the company actually ended up being quite rude. This company is terrible in my opinion. If you want to play "electrician" for the day and construct a bulb out of parts and pieces you will need solder, soldering gun, tweezers, wire cutters, forceps, a syringe, a splint, and an abundance of patience. I suggest spending a little extra money and purchasing a true Epson product. If you have been the unfortunate customer of Electrified the only hope for you is the kind and wonderful representatives from Amazon who refunded the money for this faulty product with no questions asked. Thank you Amazon for dealing with this problem so efficiently however I was disappointed I had to give this product an entire star. Would have rated a half star or zero if possible.
