Maybe the one I got was defective
My old RFID badge holder finally broke, and they were out of stock, so I wanted another one that could take the constant inserting and removing that I have to do daily. I have to badges, a PIV and an airport SIDA badge so this having two sides was great. But within three days of use, my airport SIDA badge fell out and was lost. Cost me $75 to replace it. I had that one in the side that slide in sideways and even after I replace my badge, it fell out several times. After that, I just couldn't chance losing my badge again, so when I saw the one I had was back in stock, I just reordered a couple of them. Now the side that you slide the card down in was very secure, but the side slide, not so much.

Best badge holder I've ever had!
This is an excellent badge holder! It is extremely sturdy, holds my ID's securely and looks good. The only complaint I have is that the security features work a little too well. To get into my building I use my ID on an electronic reader and it very effectively stopped that from working. Despite that this is still absolutely a 5 star ID holder. I knew when I bought this that the RFID blocker could be an issue with our system so it's certainly not the fault of the maker. Part of the reason it still gets 5 stars is that on this ID holder the RFID blocker is basically a metallic sticker on the inside of the badge holder which is very easy to remove (and don't fear, the RFID blocking sticker is definitely durable and will stay there if you want it to) and upon removing the sticker my badge works perfectly fine!I would and plan to absolutely recommend this ID holder to my coworkers.

Cheap Garbage, Not Worth The Price
I bought this badge holder in June , and it was broken by September, and I've only been in the workplace a couple of days a week due to Covid. The description says that the holder is heavy duty Duolite, Polycarbonate and metal. As you can see by the pictures the badge holder broke where you would attach a lanyard because it's cheap plastic. never again will I trust this holder with my badges, ID or credit cards.

Does the job...maybe a little too well
I bought this product to place my CAC card into to access my office building. While it works with the security guards when I show my card to them, the door sensor is blocked and I have to physically remove the card from the holder. I know that's the design, so I had to end up using a different holder, but this one works great (as long as you don't have to scan the badge).

Works exactly as advertised
This is the second one of these I’ve purchased in the past couple of years. I still have my old green one. It still works just fine, only purchased the red one to go with my new company's color scheme. As for the functionality, I can attest to the fact these do truly block the RFID readers from reading the cards. I tried it on multiple card readers, in multiple locations, all with the same result. If the card is completely in the holder, the reader cannot scan the card; if the card is sufficiently exposed, the reader will read the card.Main reason I purchased these RFID blocking badge holders was to prevent my badge from being scanned by someone as I walked by them. I’ve watched too many DEFCON videos/presentations on how easily it is to take a person’s corporate credentials without ever getting near them. At least this way, even it they manage to take of picture of the badge, they will not be able to remotely grab the info embedded within it.Highly recommended for folks who are a little more OPSEC oriented.

Pretty good little gadget but needs a tweak to be perfect.
It's sturdy and it hasn't broken since I got it last summer. My only gripe is that one side lets the card slide out sideways rather than out the top. If the card was held firmly it would make no difference to me which way it is removed. But with the rather loose hold it has on my card, I would prefer it has the assistance of gravity to keep it from falling out. A little piece of tape is necessary.A small piece of tape keeps it in place but it shouldn't be necessary.

No complaints so far
I just purchased this ID badge so I haven't had it long but so far so good. I used to have a similar badge holder that was given to me by my company. It was sturdy and lasted for years. Recently my company switched to these plastic cheap looking badge holders that break often. After gluing and taping mine up for the millionth time I went looking for a sturdy badge holder similar to the old ones my company used to give us. I was delighted to find ID Stronghold RFID blocker badge holder. It looks just like the one I used to have and it's secure. It holds two badges securely and it's easy to remove the badge if necessary. It's RFID so it won't allow the badge to be scanned while it's housed in the ID holder so you will need to remove it often but that doesn't bother me because that's what it's supposed to do. RFID keeps others from being able to scan your chip or card and get your information so I know not being able to scan it while in the case means it's working properly.

Might need to remove bthe RFID blocker
I love how this looks and I clearly should have bought this awhile ago. Only issue I had was the RFID blocker (which was some ultra thin mentalish material on each side) would not let my badge clock in and since that is what I need it for, I peeled it off. You can use a razor blade to lift a corner and it peels off easily. If you do this it leaves a lot of sticky residue but rubbing alcohol removes it easily. I wish they would make a slightly cheaper version that does not include the RFID protection.
