Great Bag to Snuggle Down to Watch TV on a Cold Night
Before buying this sleeping bag, I read a lot of complaints about the quality of the flannel on this interior of this bag and how cheap it felt but I bought this sleeping bag anyway. The interior of the bag is a soft light weight flannel (not a thick plaid shirt flannel) and it suits my purposes. The flannel is also not a cheap material because it doesn't make crinkly sounds when I move around (which I've experienced with other sleeping bags w/ the cheap polyester liners.) My only disappointment is the exterior color of the bag, which is not as bright as in the photo showing the bag. The color of the bag is more a medium lime green color and is not bright green as shown in the photo for this item. This bag is perfect to watch TV on a cold night in Texas, where houses don't have a lot of insulation and I keep my heat at 68 degrees. I wish I had this bag when about half of Texas lost power for a week in February 2020 as an additional cover. I also can't imagine sleeping in this bag when its 50 degrees or colder outside out because its really not made for that. A few ppl have alluded to a 'smell' coming from the bag, and I don't smell it, despite my super sniffer (I smell everything, whether its good or bad, while everyone around me doesn't smell a thing.) I also bought a separate sleeping bag stuff sack because the cords on this sleeping bag are a joke and I couldn't compress it to put it back into the box it came in. I am thinking of buying another one so it will fully cover my queen bed, in case of another power outage.

Really impressed!! Terrific
Terrific for my family and when friends come over to camp with us. Super comfy. Great price and the best one for the cell phone storage insulation and overall construction of this sleeping bag!! Recently I washed this bag and the zipper detached from the fabric of the sleeping bag but I washed it on gentle and let it drip dry. Why would this item detach from its zipper after being washed on gentle cycle. So since this was a huge shock and the sleeping bag hadn't been used Amazon customer services sent me a replacement and a pre-paid return label. I have Amazon Prime and received excellent customer service hands down! I am so pleased that Amazon worked with me and I learned a lesson: 'You Ought To Dry Clean This Sleeping Bag Because It's Worth It.' I searched high and low for a high quality bag this was super soft to sleep in and square at the bottom for lots of room for my growing teenager's long legs!. His Academy at school takes several overnight trips and I felt confident buying this sleeping bag for his comfort. He loves the green color with cotton-like inner lining which is perfect for his style. He also loves how well it rolls up so small to carry in his duffle bag or his backpacks to carry with him for long periods of time. He raves about this sleeping bag and he loves how it can be unzippered and used as a big comfy warm blanket. It's great all around and I am so- Thankful for Amazon Prime and Amazon Customer Service!!!!! I will never stop buying from Amazon nor Prime. It's worth the effort to utilize this great attribute. I am a long time member and very satisfied

6 years and still going strong, one of the few with cotton lining.
I've had this bag now for about 6 years and its been my "travel" sleeping bag while crashing at friend's houses on weekends or temperate weather car camping. It's held up quite well and still comfortable. I use it pretty regularly, probably 1 to 2 weekends a month. This was one of the few bags out there with an actual cotton liner inside it at the time, which I find much more comfortable than the synthetic liners in most "cheap" sleeping bags. Zipper is still in good shape and there's very little wear and tear on the bag. If you want something that will last a while and is a good, heavy, comfortable summer/indoor bag, this is the one to get.As a general note, this bag isn't for backpacking as it's pretty bulky and heavy, and I wouldn't consider using it down to the 30 degree limit it provides if you want to be comfortable without adding blankets or wearing layers to bed. Its very comfortable in the 50 to 70 degree range for me.

good for comfort, so-so for warmth
Consider this sleeping bag similar to a light comforter. It's great unzipped, for watching movies or sleeping on the couch, both of which are generally done with clothes on. As such, in a mid- to high-60's room, it's just about perfect. The flannel lining is very comfortable. As others have alluded to, the 30-50 degree rating is somewhat of a bad joke. You might avoid hypothermia in that range, but getting to sleep is unlikely, so just wear lots of clothes and huddle under an emergency blanket... I tried it out on a 40-45 degree night and could barely tell there was anything there, but stacking another heavy down comforter on top of it made it very cozy. However, I knew going in that it wouldn't be toasty warm on its own, so that's not a major negative. I picked it partly because I was tired of restrictive mummy bags, even if they are warmer, and wanted a rectangular cut that a fleece liner could be used with. That still doesn't make it warm enough for winter weather, but at least it adds pretty good 3-season flexibility.I'm not a fan of the Roll Control and Quick Cord systems. The Quick Cord is great for getting tangled up in, but awkwardly positioned for kind of half securing the rolled up bag. The Roll Control works well enough, but good luck getting them unhooked in the dark, like, you know, when you actually use a sleeping bag. I clipped the Quick Cord off and will use an old stuff sack instead. The sleeping bag's outer layer feels a bit thin from a durability standpoint, so having it in a heavy duty sack should prolong the life, as well.
