This clock is great. I purchased it for my Mother. It is easy to set up but my mother wasn't able to set it up, she might have been able to do it if she had to but she finds concentrating on anything difficult so she would have struggled to set up. I set it up and I found it easy and once set it up it has been fantastic. I just wish I had got it earlier. My mother forgets the day, month and year so this clock has worked wonderfully. It has alarm settings which make a noise when they go off at the set time and a reminder comes up on the clock saying "remember to take your morning medication”, or "remember to take your evening medication“. I can't remember right now but there are a few medication settings I think for, lunchtime, tea-time etc. Before I got this clock my Mother was calling me every morning completely distressed and confused as to the day, date, time of day, year etc. I was calling at least twice a day too remind her to take her tablets but if she didn't take them while we were speaking on the phone she would put the phone down and forget. Since she has had the clock she hasn't forgotten to take her tablets once. It is a bit pricy but it is fantastic. My mother got very upset and distressed when she couldn't work out what day or time it was. It was easy for me to say look on the TV or the iPad but if you don't remember to look at these things it pointless. I cannot praise the clock enough and if anyone is thinking about getting one just get it it has made a hugh difference to my Mothers life and she is less distressed. I know she felt uncomfortable calling me to ask the day, date and if it was morning or evening and it upset her as she realised she was forgetting stuff this clock has help so much.

Fairly straightforward to set up. Very clear display. Helpful information given in east to read format. Hoping it continues to keep good time.

The product fulfills the primary purpose of presenting a clear and explicit display of day, date, time of day etc. admirably.The drawback I will highlight relates to the medication alarm. This would be a very useful function if it could be silenced conveniently on demand. The only way to silence the loud and persistent alarm is to press one of the inconveniently placed setting buttons located on the bottom reverse of the case. While this would not present too much of a problem for an able bodied user, it does present a serious obstacle to an elderly and confused person. Since the medication alarm is (presumably) principally aimed at this latter user population it would appear that this functionality has not been properly considered.My guess is that the device is in fact a general purpose photo display frame that has been repurposed as a digitial clock. As a result the passive clock function is fine. Any user interaction requiring a moderate degree of insight and dexterity will be a stretch.

Does what it says it will do and looks great whilst doing it!! I bought the all black version and it sits by my TV so I can see the date and time easily. I had something similar before but the date was to small but it did have a temperature gauge in it and I do miss that with this new clock. Never mind I will put the old one in the kitchen.

Purchased for mum who has dementia and struggles with days, time of day etc; she also struggles to see without glasses so has on occasion for up dressed and washed in the middle of the night thinking it’s a dark morning !Mum loves this clock she can see it and because it tells her if it’s morning, evening, pre-dawn etc she is less disoriented.I ordered two by mistake but we’ve kept them both one for bedroom and one for lounge.

Worked brilliantly for 4 months and then suddenly stopped. There is just a slight backlight on a black blank screen when it switches on now but no display or function at all.

Bought this clock to replace a 2 yr old one that suddenly stopped working. The clock face and layout are great and help my ekdrly mother to remember day,date,am/pm etc. My issue is with the useless stand, it just doesn't work! There is a piece of plastic rod that pushes into a recess in the back of the clock and the weight of the clock holds itself up? What a bad/cheap design. I am going to mount it on the wall instead. Spend a bit more and get one with a better stand is my advice.

Easy to set up and easy to read with a number of options for the display.
