Pretty awesome
I've been fascinated by rocket stoves and the like for a while now, and i'm happy to own this thing. Sitting in the middle of no where with 1 or 0 bars of service at 9,000 ft ASL and staying warm. Boiled 20oz of water for coffee this morning in a couple of minutes, cooked bacon for breakfast, steak for dinner, and is now keeping my campsite warm using a few twigs.Even using wet wood, this thing burns smoke-free in a couple of minutes. I'm actually sitting under my pop up camper's awning with no worry of embers burning a hole in it. Easy to control the size of flame protruding out of the top, too. I've moved it several times while burning today without incident, too.In short, this is a cool alternative to a full blown campfire and I can definitely see it not only cooking food, but keeping a couple of people warm during chilly weather. I only brought a hatchet this trip and i have enough small sticks to burn for days. It doesn't really pack easily but it's a lot better than bringing the chainsaw, axe, fuel, bar oil, etc.Pretty sweet.

Great Stove but with one flaw...
Although I really like my EZY Stove, I found the top cooking surface designed with a negative angle toward the burner which makes it difficult to use a container less than 5" - 6" to be used. I solved this issue by using 1.5" X 12" X 1/4" aluminum bars and cut notches in them to form an 'X' style support that fits between the factory container supports. These new supports are level and permits me to use cooking containers from the very smallest to those over 12" in diameter. Mfg. design needs to be changed to also allow this. Otherwise, the EZY stove is just that, EZY to use, and makes a great stove for larger number of campers. Not designed for backpacking, for campsite or emergency use. Well built and otherwise well designed. Highly recommend this stove as a great addition to your camping gear or emergency preparedness gear!

The Stove is excellent. The packing and shipping were terrible.
I received this in an Amazon box. The box was way bigger than it needed to be and the stove and one little wad of packing paper were just tossed in there. The stove was able to just bounce around in the box and arrived with most of it having come apart from getting bounced around. I had to finish disassemble it and then put the thing back together again. It's just pure luck that nothing was bent. Very poor packing and shipping by who ever was responsible for that.Moving on, the stove itself works just as advertised. It did a very good job of cooking several meals so far out on the back porch and does it with just a few twigs and couple of sticks of kindling. I am very happy so far with the stove itself.

Burns fast and efficient using only twigs and sticks
Had this for a while, but haven't used it much. Decided to boil some hot dogs for lunch. Gathered a handful of twigs and sticks off the ground. Put a small piece of paper towel on bottom of stove, twigs and larger sticks on top and lit it up. Burns fast. I had to keep feeding it, but it worked great and I still had some sticks left.My only complaint is the stainless steel plate is not tilted to let the sticks self feed as they burn down. I think I will work on a way to modify this in the future. For now I will just keep it in the shop in case we are out of power for extended time or collapse of civilization as we know it.Overall it's a great little efficient affordable stove.

Love love love
This thing is perfect. My cast iron skillet sits perfect on it, and it heats up faster than I hoped. Easy to keep fire going, and easy to transport. Not for hikers, but great if you are driving to campsite.

A pseudo rocket stove, warm weather cookstove
In cold rainy near freezing (33-45 Farenheit) its good for getting kindling going, but really requires carefully split sticks stoked constantly to cook withh. And that cookware needs to be covered unless you enjoy smoky taste and smoke in your face. The lightweight lacks the heavy brick-like insulation a proper rocket stove (like stovetec) has.

If you are going camping for a few days in the woods get this one.
Works great and is super like but it's very cumbersome. But it's worth it to have this little miracle in the middle of nowhere.

Sloppy assembly but otherwise good
The stove was poorly assembled. One of the inner bars that hold the stove was bent toward the outside of the pot cage so far that it did not even touch the bottom of the stove. I removed the stove using zip ties to slightly pull back all the inner rods. Then the over-bent rod was bent back into position and the stove inserted. Not a deal killer but still shouldn't have happened. Another issue is the shape of the pot rods. They slope inward, which makes any pan smaller than 12 inches unstable. It fits a wok perfectly and appears to have been designed for it. Still thinking about how to use a smaller pan without it being elevated way above the flame. Any ideas?Solved small pan issue with 13" wire grate or pizza pan. Used pan to minimize soot issue.

Absolutely Worth '5' Stars, At Least . . .
Got mine around Ten Bucks or so cheaper in the choices they had at the time. Those can be the colour you want but surprisingly, it's a returned unit that's a bit scratched up and could have a few SMALL bumps, dents and bruises. However, they do provide a new burn chamber but if the rest is still in good to new condition, they simply repackage it and send it off as a discounted product. It's actually a good idea, really. I'm rather pleased to be honest. I just wish they'd make note of it; Even if only a few words such as 'Reconditioned', 'Pre-Owned', 'Like New' or something similar. That doesn't change the units' quality or performance. It works great and burns quite well.! It is afterall, built having the same properties of a 'Rocket Stove'. Only that this is a different build, look and configuration. And a truly handy one at that. Anyway, I dropped in a 5" inch round bottom plate of very thick chimney flue type material and the rest snipped the 5" inch centre up cutting out the fuel input chamber and raised it by an inch and it's now perfectly level with the rest of external encased frame. Helps keep the original internal stainless-steel protected which in turn will last longer and you can now put a decent resized fire pit grate over it and you get a really nice flat, lots of room stove top surface to cook on.!This is NOT a Backpacking Stove to bring w/you, but certainly one for use when driving out to a campground or picnic areas. No one can complain cause it's really not much more than a simple wood & bio-mass fired stove which you can easily put out with a single cup of water. You can even extend the 5" diameter flue venting it outside from inside a wall tent or a multi use shed if you want. Heat will stay in and the little smoke coming out after you've got it burning hot will simply vent outside. This Is A Seriously Nice, Useful and Multi-Functional Unit.Highly Recommended.!Enjoy . . .

Makes great bacon! 🥓
Very impressed!! I brought this stove on a four night outing in the Canadian out back. Used it for all my cooking and heating water for various reasons. It's displacement of heat for cooking I find is superior over gas, it doesn't create a severe hot spot in the centre of your frying pan/pot like your average gas stove does. To make 1 1/2 litres of coffe took me 17 minutes from start to finish, including lighting the stove. The amount of wood I used was no more than three 20" bundles of sticks. I will be buying another one of these stoves because it's nice to have two stoves for cooking larger meals.

Clean and cook.
Looks good. Feels good. Works good. I don't know if I would say it actually reduces smoke but no matter. I use this to pretend I am camping (as I have done many times in my youth..camping ..that is..not pretending to camp). This way I can cook over a real fire without the mess of a fire pit on my lawn. This stove will burn small scrap wood and branches thus it helps to keep my lawn clean. ( I do do the cleaning..not the stove..) This is not a back packing stove. Just too large to pack but for permanent sites it is an excellent product.

Looks like a nice Stove
Good looking Stove. Mine seemed to be pre-opened. Not sure why? Plastic film was taking off and the stove was already assembled. Not packed very well in the box. Thought this was a new product and unused..... Oh well. Look forward to using it.
