This thing is adorable! I absolutely love it. Good quality thick ceramic that is a stunning teal color.

I put some warm water in it after a freezing night and the dish cracked. I guess I need to buy a heated bird bath for my central Oregon location. Otherwise, it’s nice.

When we bought our house 9 years ago we unearthed a birdbath pedestal that was left behind, and it was so pretty I didn’t want to let it go. But finding a “top” only is virtually impossible. This fit the bill completely! It’s beautifully crafted and has a little nub on the bottom that fits right into the divot on the top of the pedestal. Plus it’s super pretty. The enamel seems high quality and the birds were immediately attracted to it. It’s very easy to clean and holds a nice amount of water.The only issue is the squirrels jump up and have knocked it over once, but that has nothing to do with the bath, it’s probably because they’re not a “matched” pair. But there was no damage to the bath when that happened - so that proves the quality in my book. Very satisfied!

I had to replace an existing metal birdbath that had developed pinholes due to rust. Aha, a ceramic birdbath would not have that malady. However, this ceramic bath is small and only about half the diameter compared to the one it replaced, which looks small on the stand. A larger birdbath would retain water longer by its greater volume. It looks nice but I haven't seen birds on it yet.
