The kids had something to do
The toy was great for my kids. I had to get two because they would have been fighting over on. I was not to happy with the plastic material but it is a great toy. The kids had something to do

I think it’s Fantastic, but I’m gonna be honest…
I really really like this figure, it’s one of the few figures that came out of the Bumblebee movie that I think works really well with him. They are about the same size and the fact they both transform into cars makes them very compatible for all different kinds of displays and play. First off I’m gonna say something because it’s crucial to a part of this review. This is a Studio Series figure. These are not easy Transformers and they are not for little kids. These are more of a teen/pre-teen item. That being said, it has its pros and cons. The cons are very insignificant. Chief among them is the transformation, if you are not an avid transformers collector and aren’t familiar with the Studio Series line, then this transformer will be difficult for you. Even as someone who owns tons of Transformers and has been doing them since he was a kid, I had to Google a video to be able to figure out how this one works. Of course, after watching the video and getting it fully transformed for the first time and fully untransformed, a little bit of practice was all it took to be able to do it by memory. The paint is also a problem, from a foot or so away this figure looks great, but once you get up close, you realize that the paint job isn’t stellar it almost looks like it was airbrushed on rather than printed or painted. The weapons storage is a bit of a joke, whereas most other figures find a way to either implement the weapon into the design or hide it properly. This character’s weapon just clipped onto the back and looks like he’s lugging around a giant engine for no reason. The articulation isn’t fantastic. It’s not bad, but it’s also not good because of the transformation this characters arms bend further back than they should at the middle joint and sometimes you run into problems with the legs. It isn’t terrible though. However, there is a lot of pros to consider. This figure is great. It’s a perfect size to match with the other main characters of the Bumblebee movie, and it works very well with them. The detail on the head is amazing, It definitely is not lumped in with the somewhat poor paint job on the rest of the figure. I’d also like to add that to figure is very sturdy, I saw two reviews with pictures that showed that the figure had “fallen apart” or “broke”. I hate to say it but that’s not true and mostly their fault. Both of the photos show limbs that have just been popped off and can easily be popped back on again. The kind of “breakage” that those photos show is not the figures fault but the fault of unexperienced people trying to force a transformation. It’s very clear that those people bought this with no prior knowledge of the Studio Series and it’s difficulty. Moving on, this is true of the entire Bumblebee line (for the most part) but both modes look stellar whether it’s in robot mode or car mode, they both look great and don’t take anything away from each other. Overall, I really really like it and I think that it goes great with the rest of the line and there is very little problems with this figure in either form. It happens to be one of my favorites out of the collection I have. I do recommend you buy this character.

Weak ball joints
Great Vehicle look and good enough robot look. Transforming isn’t really fun because the leg ball joints pop loose especially it’s left. I am leaving as car and if I wanted as robot I think I would just buy a second.
