Best skin and hair oil
Pure ingredient, no additives, I use this oil as a base to combine stronger oils for my hair, skin, nails etc and I literally love it so much. Highly recommend. Moisturizing, light, not too heavy, variety of uses, mild/hardly any scent and good to use as a base for combining other products.

Liquid Gold in a bottle
Scentless, light, and smooth Jojoba Oil, this 'oil' is actually a liquid wax ester that has served as a replacement for whale oil in cosmetics because of it's very close similarity to sebum (your own natural body oil). It can be used on skin or hair, and is a very powerful and ideal moisturizer that can be combined with as little as 2 or 1 drops to your soap and moisturizers.Love this. I mixed it with some frank, lavender and tea tree - its working on my face great. I was using a "high end" cleanser, toner and moisturizer combo and it just made me break out. This is very gentle. I usually wipe my face with a tissue after to get the extra oil off. I also use it as a carrier for other essential oils. Use as a nighttime moisturizer. I have acne-prone skin, and I've never had problems with breakouts while using Jojoba Oil . When I do get the occasional blemish, I also mix this with 100% tea tree oil for a natural acne treatment. I definitely recommend it. I received this item at discount price for my unbiased review.

Simply fantastic
I can't say enough good things about Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil. I have tried other brands and this one is the best there is. Other brands had oil that smelled strongly or had an off "odor". I have never had that issue with this product. It goes on smoothly, gets absorbed quickly. I have very sensitive skin and anything with fragrances leaves me with a reaction. So several years ago I had to stop using all commercial moisturizers. I began looking for something that would work for me, that was non-comodegenic and fragrance-free. This is it. I use it as a facial moisturizer, body moisturizer, and in place of a hand creme. It leaves my skin soft and calm. I told family members and friends about it and now so many of them have switched over from other synthetic products, and every one of them swears by it. My only complaint (a friendly request for Desert Essence, really) is that I wish this came in larger bottles/bulk packaging. We go through so much of this in my household every month, that it feels like a major environmental waste to keep buying these small plastic bottles. That and, once the bottles are opened for use, they leak if the bottle is sideways in a bag. So if you take yours to the gym, or carry it with you in your bag ( I do both, since I use it each time I wash my hands), I found a workaround -- the bottles have a pour cap, and under that, the bottle mouth comes sealed with a foil disk. If you only peel the disk back a little bit, pour out the oil you need, then press the disk back against the mouth and tightly close the cap, the bottle does not leak when sideways. But you have to be mindful. Other than that, this is one of my all-time favorite personal use products and one I swear by at all times.

Best oil ever
I heard about this oil when I was doing research on something to help with the acne I was having again in my mid thirties. I am a female in mid thirties with European white skin. A lot of acne websites suggested this type of oil to add to any acne creams and medication both if you have dry skin or oily skin. It does not clog the pores or allow bacteria to grow. I have oily skin and it is because I would strip my face of all oils when I would wash. The Jojoba Oil and helped it the fact that I use it on its own or with any kind of lotion and replenishes the good oils in my skin so it does not have to over produce it an more. It works great in everything from lotion, sunscreen and even in my conditioner. My hair is shinier, healthier and less frizzy. Warning a little goes a long way. In the skin it does absorb nicely but the hair if not rinsed out can leave it very oily.

In my 30's with dry, acne prone skin.
I started using this based on the the reviews on a popular makeup/skincare board. I am in my mid 30s and still struggle with occasional acne and clogged pores, yet my skin has been dry and I am beginning to get some fine lines. Based on my history of pretty severe acne breakouts in my 20's and sensitivity to a variety of popular skincare products, including most sunscreens, moisturizers and makeup, I never considered putting oil on my face; not in a million years would I have tried this before I began my research. Recently my skin has been somewhat dehydrated and I had started occasionally using Retin A Micro to unclog my pores and relieve myself of some stubborn blackheads. My skin was unable to handle this routine, but every night cream and heavy moisturizer I tried either wasn't hydrating enough or reclogged my pores. I read online some reviews of buffering the Retin A Micro with oils, and how Jojoba oil can intensify moistuizers without being harsh on acne prone skin. I am so glad I tried this. I now use it every morning and every night and massage into my skin very liberally. I still use the Retin A Micro about three nights a week right on top of this and I don't get the redness and peeling that I did before. No clogged pores or acne. I will say that my 14 year old daughter has great skin but tends to be dry with excema. She had started peeling from too many acne products. I used this on her skin once, and it looked great unti the next day. She broke out in 3 huge pimples in areas she normally does not get acne. I can only assume this product was the issue since nothing else changed in her routine. Bottom line is maybe try the product in a limited area before using it daily, just to ensure it won't cause a reaction. My bottle does have an official "Organic" seal on the manufacturer label. I ordered the 4 fl oz.
