Excellent quality and construction. Very nice!
It's a perfect length and size for my husband. If you like a little more length go to the next size up. The leather is exceptionally nice and the belt is well made with quality metal parts.

A proper, well built, stiff, strong mans belt
I wear a belt, every day, every where I go. At 50, I've owned a few and can remember a time when these things were just made better than the typical junk seen everywhere these days. I guess if the buying public has never seen a real, tough, manly belt then the masses think a soft piece of split grain veneer glued to cardboard is a good thing. I don't see it that way. I've worn Carhartt belts for years. They are pretty good and the edge and inside finish are well done. They are thick, and they last. They also have an unfortunately hideous lineup of buckles, and they just charge too much. A good product that just costs too much. Enter the Relentless Brands Journeyman belt. This is a great belt, made right, no stupid effort to make soft out of the box. You put this kind of belt on, don't overtighten it, and just wear it. After a couple of weeks it forms to you and becomes the most practical, comfortable belt ever. The leather is good quality, has a clean working man look that's not out of place in nicer attire, and the buckle is a quality, low key type that will do the job I need done. If you don't like the buckle, the belt is made with 2 snaps to remove it and replace with your preference. It's the best deal I've found on a belt in a long while. I live in Florida and work a lot outside. Sweat saturated belts tend to stretch, so the long term test is a summer of sweat. Initial impression is 4.5 stars. Only thing I'd change would be to finish the back side of the belt to lessen absorption of moisture, and just because I prefer a finished inside.

Overall Quality
Excellent quality thick leather (not split leather that has been stitched). Comfortable, attractive, fits perfectly! Nice matte finish. Cons: It's really thick and takes more time to maneuver through belt loops but it looks good, is of good quality and should last forever. Suggestion: I would consider treating the leather once or twice a year with a good quality mineral oil preservative like LEATHER HONEY or the Vasoline type preservative you would treat Doc Martin leather shoes. AVOID SUBMERGING THIS BELT IN WATER - WATER STRETCHES THE LEATHER AND MISHAPES IT PERMANENTLY. If you do you part, this product should last many, many years. For the cost, this is well-worth the money considering the excellent quality. I plan to buy another. . .

Good, casual, American-made belt
My son needed a new casual use belt so I returned for another Main Street Forge belt after my mostly good experience with my Foreman belt (see my review of that issue). The criteria is that the belt should be full grain leather, be made in the USA, and look good without breaking the bank and MSF's Journeyman Leather Belt meets all three. He's been wearing it for a few weeks and it's held up well as expected, showing no signs of significant wear or stretching. . The only concern is that the leather, about 0.14 to 0.15-inch thick through the length of the belt, is about 25 to 30 percent thinner where the belt loops to attach the buckle . I believe this is usually the case but the thinning begins just before the loop starts (about an inch from the centerline of the first of the two fasteners), is visually noticeable in the right light, and results in a weaker, floppy point just outside the end loop. If this causes trouble over time, I'll try to remember to come back to provide an update. Until then, this looks like a solid 4* belt that's quite suitable for casual-to-business-casual use.

Great, made in USA quality belt
Well made product. Love MADE IN USA businesses with products that are reasonably priced. Husband was pleased with it. Had adequate holes compared to other belts of the same size that required him to either add some or abandon using the belt.

Fantastic, quality leather belt
This is just a great belt. If you're on the fence looking at it, I'd say go ahead and get it. I've never found a belt of this quality at this price point before - in handling the belt, I would honestly expect it to cost double what it does. Ordering by pants waist size worked perfectly for me, and there are 7 belt holes so it's actually got quite a nice range of adjustment. I really like that its a 1.5" wide belt - it works great with jeans and you can even squeeze it into most dress slacks' belt loops if you so desire (I often do). I also like that the buckle is snapped on like a good old school belt. It's been getting harder to finds belts that don't have the buckle stitched on. Makes it easy to swap if you have a favorite buckle. To summarize: solid leather, fits well, and is made in USA, which you can instantly tell from the overall quality. I would be prepared to hit it with a little leather conditioner - mine was a little bit dry when it showed up, but that's really a non-issue. Honestly I will probably be buying some more of these as gifts. Everyone deserves to have a really good belt, and I think you cannot find a better one for the money.

Well Made in the USA
I purchased this belt in black & brown to replace one I bought here (made in the Orient); the Orient one (guess where?) came with a strong chemical odor which did not dissipate after a week of airing. I returned it and the UPS store asked me what was in the package that smelled so bad. So I searched for other belts and found most "name brand" ones were also foreign made, even though some had USA components (why ship components to a foreign country then have them shipped back here???). Anyway the USA belts are perfect size (I bought them 2 sizes larger than pant size), heavy duty but not stiffer than expected, NO ODOR! and the buckles are great but can be changed off because the loop is not sewn on but closed with snaps of a sort (I think you need a screwdriver or other tool). Very happy with these belts. Edited: the belts are OK but I decided to take advantage of their "lifetime guarantee" which you have to do online - the literature which came with the belts states "at seller's discretion" so what kind of guarantee is that?

I’ve had this belt for a month now and I would say that it feels very durable and high quality. I bought the brown one and i will be looking into purchasing a black one soon.
