Honshu Conqueror Bowie Knife and Sheath – 7Cr13 Stainless Steel Blade, Textured TPR Handle, Hefty Stainless Steel Guard – Solid Tactical Weapon - 16 1/2" Overall

Alot of people that have reviewed this knife have talked bad about the sheath for it, i don't know if they got a different one than me or that the company fixed the sheath. All I can say is that the sheath is great, it's made of leather and the only problem with it is it fits very snugly, if you actually use this knife the sheath will get looser and it fits very well after alot of use. I can add that most of the people buying this are not even going to use the knife anyway, so i don't see the problem with the sheath being tight. As for the knife I have used it quite a bit as of now and it is very nice for a bowie, i have cut down several big limbs "3 - 6 inches circumference" with it and it did nothing to the edge, no curling no dulling as of yet. All in all a good stainless steel blade and tough enough for most users. I personally wouldn't baton stainless steel but I actually think it would hold up for awhile if you had to.

better than expected , the blade is wider than it appears in add. nice weight , sharp, the grip is practical and safe for handling the sheath is tight but only cause it's new , don't pay attention to complainers of the sheath it's decent . compared to other Bowies of equal value i would say that i got my moneys worth .

very good knife for the price. first one ordered had to be sent back as the sheath would not fit at all without cutting into side welts of the sheath. Second one is very tight but it does work. the knife itself is holding up very well and I'm pleasantly surprised. I've already gotten my money's worth from the chores its done around the yard, chopping down bushes, small limbs/ trees. Re-sharpens easily too!

Reasonably sharp. Feels good in the hand. Excellent addition to any to any Honshu or knife/sword collection. The leather sheath that came with this knife was a bit tight. It took a bit of work to get the knife in and out. What the heck, I'm retired so I can spend the day messing with such things.

The knife is badass! The sheath not so much, wouldn’t even fit the blade inside it. Luckily, my husband, who I got it for for his birthday, is a Leathercraftsman! He made his own awesome sheath and is super happy! Though I noticed somethin strange, I paid $80 April 3rd,2020 and noticed the price more than doubled the day after purchase.

First, let me start by saying that I love Honshu blades! Including this knife, all my Honshu's are among my favorite knives. The sheath for this knife, however, is complete and utter garbage!!! The design is so godawful and plain and simply doesn't belong anywhere near this knife! On top of that, it's for left handers!!?? When did left handers become the majority?? EVERYTHING about the sheath is horrible, but I suppose, if I had to pick, the worst part is that the width is too small! You literally have to shove hard to get the knife in, and there will never be a quick or smooth blade extraction!! If the knife itself weren't so badass, I'd give a 1 star review! Having said that, if I can't find a decent cheap sheath for this, I will be returning it! I read other reviews about the sheath and thought it couldn't be that bad, so I bought it anyway. Trust that if you get this knife, the sheath is worse than any review can put into words, so be prepared for a letdown!!!

this is a large, usable knife. lighter than the wide body bowies, and so will not double as a hatchet, but almost and a king of knives. sharp, and even sharper if you want. this is sturdy. can go in my bugout bag. and it is stainless! and large!

I bought this knife for practical usage in outdoors application. It looked like exactly what I wanted. Then I got it. Despite the claims of being very sharp and strong the blade was so dull I could press my thumb into it with no problem and the blade came with little chips on it. When I tried to return it I had to spend a couple days/messages discussing why they should pay for shipping. They had all sorts of excuses as to why they didn't feel like they should have to pay shipping. They did finally agree to send me a paid shipping label....but it took to much work/effort to get there....especially considering the quality of the product they sent me.
