Letzgo Sump Bobber Water Level Sensor (SB2)

I use these in my fountains to call for water when the water level is low. There is even an option for the circuit to be closed when the float is up or when the float is down.

I purchased this switch to replace a defective, unsealed unit in my sump pump sump. This is a sealed unit (and therefore not subject to rust and corrosion which killed the original switch). The switch is wired normally open but can be modified to normally closed by inverting the float. It is easily mounted to the 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe that is attached to the sump pump. The price is a bit high, but worth it. After research and comparison of functionally similar switches, I think this is one of the best available. My application is in a two-pump sump. When the lower pump is working properly, there is no need to monitor water levels in the sump. However when both pumps are operating to keep up with the water flow into the sump, this switch is set to turn on the high water alarm if the top pump is unable to keep up with the water flow. The function of the switch is to turn on the alarm if the water level starts to rise after the higher pump is operating.

Excellent Water Level Sensor. Installed it in my sump basin and connected it to an alarm to let me know if the water in the basin is getting too high. Let's me know if there is a problem before water overflows onto the floor. Great Sensor, easy to install.
