Q: I have a sony Z960 5.1 surround sound. Would i be able to get the surround sound out of this projector for content streamed through a 4k firestick??

The audio output is via 3.5mm jack port. This will only carry a stereo signal.

I would assume so, I have the BenQ TK800 and the usb socket on it powers my firestick without any problems.

You can use blue tooth transmitters with 3.5 jack connection from W the projector headphones out and receiver end into your cinema input. You can pick up cheap from ebay or possibly pc world might have the kits too.
