The books came in perfect condition! These books are perfect for 2nd and 3rd graders. Ramona is relatable for children because she’s around the same age! Not only is she witty but the plot in all the stories grab the children’s attention. It’s great for classroom teachers and parents to read to their children at night! Highly recommend for boys and girls.

I remember reading books about the exact same characters in these books when I was a kid. They were funny and entertaining back then and my 9 year old granddaughter finds them funny and entertaining now. She reads these books aloud whenever she comes over so and we both enjoy the stories and adventures of this little girl named Ramona and her family.

I recently purchased the book “Ramona” for my granddaughter’s birthday. What a stunning book, filled with emotion.

I used the Ramona story to teach my daughter to read. A simple, easy to relate to story about the adventures of Ramona the pest!

As a grandmother, I loved these as a child, and read them to my children as well. My son read all of them to my granddaughter, and she adored Ramona. Since then they have read all the Henry Huggins books, and started on Ralph S. Mouse. Ramona is her favorite character! Beverly Cleary is one of the greats in children’s literature. May she RIP, knowing that generations of children have loved her books and wonderful characters! April, 2022—-As an update, my granddaughter loved Ramona so much, she had her Dad read all of the books to her again, and at almost 7, she is now reading them to herself!

I loved these books as a child and now that my own daughter is 8, she is loving them just as much as I did 30 years ago. Ramona is a delightful character.

4th grade granddaughter loves them

I'm a Gen Xer who read these books growing up and was curious to see how they've aged. Turns out, they're virtually timeless. Sure, Ramona's dad smokes in the house, and Ramona walks to first grade by herself. But the emotions that Ramona feels, and the details of her world, will feel just as familiar to Gen Z as they did to me. My 7-year-old is entranced by them - we've read four of them out loud so far. The chapters are the perfect length for pre-bedtime story hour.

I read these myself when I was maybe 8-10. Read these aloud to my kids who (7 & 9 yo) and they absolutely loved them. Beverly Cleary’s emotional realist children’s stories about problems and feelings faced by real kids doesn’t age one bit.

As my kid just said, ‘I really loved the books - they were really interesting and do much fun to read! Would recommend getting volume one before volume two. I liked the new design and am glad it had the original illustrations inside!’

Great books! They are a classic for young readers. We have both collections and my 7 years old reads them and enjoys them very much. The narration is fun, modern and realistic.

My kid loved this series. The conflicts of Ramona with her sister and other family members, friends and teachers and their resolutions were so easy to relate to - Life of an 8 year old is sure full of challenges !!
