Three stars because it washes off easily. Otherwise the combs are junk and barely disperse any color. I had to take out the color blocks and apply directly to hair hat way. And going against the directions I had to rub back and forth several timesFor any amount of color to show. My daughter’s hair is a dishwater blonde and they weren’t vibrant at all. Hard to see.

Cheaply made!! Hair becomes stiff after use, and the color doesn’t even show up on darker hair! What a waste of money! I hope this product NEVER comes back in stock!

will probably work on light hair for sure no dark brown or black sorry

Did not work for my brown hair. I also tried to apply to my sons hair when it was a little longer but i could not seem to get it.

Terrible. Didn’t show up on any hair color, made hair bad texture, the picture is misleading, and the directions are very vague.

If you're looking to just color a 1" strip of hair and don't care if you can curl or straighten it, go for it. Otherwise, though these do deposit bright colors (unlike most chalks) and they do wash out very easily, you can't do anything with your hair after it has been put on, way too greasy/waxy. If looking to use on a wig or extensions, it does work, but again I wouldn't use my good curling iron on it for fear that it would get all that gunk on it, but I haven't tried.

Unless you are a professional at this the common person doesn't end up looking like the picture. Need a lot of pressure when combin. The black brushes contain the pigment but we got better results just using the color with out the brush. It will also pull put your hair a bit.
