Amazing. My 4yo daughter loves this thing, and so do we!! So easy to use, we use it far beyond what we'd purchased for.

Great idea, needs some work.
First off, soon after my husband received this in the mail and tried it on, one of the chest straps popped off. Because of the fabric over the cord, he couldn't get it back on.The water pack for our 3 year old didn't work very well, and he had to keep sucking really hard to get water through the tube.Because of the position of this, the kids having their legs permanently straight but leaning forward, my son's leg quickly began to hurt and tire.My husband's back also began to ache after only about a mile because there is no lower back harness, the weight rests solely on his shoulders. He said if there had been a strap for his waist as well it would have been a game changer. It's a great concept, just needs work.

So much fun using our new back pack, almost perfect!
My 3 y/o daughter and I love it! At first she was nervous, and actually did slip off the bar right off the bat. This was user error as I didn't get her feet set in far enough etc... The backpack worked flawlessly and caught her with the straps as well as her holding the handles. It scared her briefly but I was easily able to bend down and get her reset. She was actually reassured and from there on loved it. She felt totally secure and was even bouncing and playing as we were walking. She loves her "water back pack" and it makes it fun for her and she wants to wear it. The only downside and reason I gave it a 4 star was because of the hose on the incorporated hydro bag was not the most convenient and takes a decent amount of work to suck water out of. Even myself as an adult didn't find it very user friendly. I ended up taking the bag and hose out of another name brands backpack that fit in hers. The design and ease of suction was phenomenally better and she loved it.

Not comfortable.
Wasn't comfortable to use when carrying our 35lb, 2yr old. Not sure how people can walk more than a couple feet with this product. The shoulder straps caused serious discomfort on the neck area. Not for us. Maybe it works better for others.

I think there's a few more improvements that need to be made to justify the price.
The idea is great. However, the bar where the child stands is very uncomfortable. It hurts. It digs into the lower back. We've tried it higher and lower, it's still very uncomfortable. It would be better if there is padding or if it can hug around the back/hips and still have stability for the child's feet to stand. I honestly figure for the price that is a minimum expectation....comfort for the carrier. We tried to use it while attending a 8.5k run/walk with a toddler. We maybe used it for 20 mins. and we completed the race in 1 hr 45 min. at a 2 year old pace.I really wanted this item to work but I think there's a few more improvements that need to be made to justify the price.

First use last night (up a huge hill). My daughter is 3 and about 30 lbs. The Piggyback Rider worked great! Both she and I were comfortable on the 2miles she rode. Very easy to take on and off for one person to manage. We did not use the hydration pack in favor of using the space for storage. Car keys, wallet, and cell phone all fit easily into the adult pack. Daughter loved that she could carry something special with her has well. She also loved that she was high enough to easily look around (we went to a concert in a large park). We will be taking this with us to Disney World in the fall for sure!

Pretty good system
Pretty solid for our trip up Stone Mountain. We have 3, almost 4, year old twins so we alternated with this. Kids are at the top of the weight limit 45 lbs and about 48", but seemed super sturdy. I did purchase the waist add in which I wore, but hubby did not. Only negative to me was when kids aren't on the rider, the top strap is a strangler on the front of your neck . That was annoying. Otherwise works as promised and helped us make the climb enjoyable with littles. I'd purchase again. Pics attached.
