Gege Original : Style A Japanese Doll, Brunette, 15" (Amazon Exclusive)

This doll is large, beautiful, and well made. It will make a great gift for a child, and should hold up to plenty of love. It is also nice enough for an adult collector. Can’t go wrong with this doll! On a side note, I actually bought several of these for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child during a deal. I liked that the box itself is actually a folding lid-type box, like many shoeboxes. There is plenty of room around the doll for the other items that go into the OCC shoe boxes, so we plan to use her factory box itself as the shoebox, fill it, then put the rubber band around the outside and ship it to a child around the world. Just an added, unexpected bonus with this doll!

Very nice doll for my Grandaughter but the dolls thumb will not stay in the dolls mouth. Pretty clothes.

Nicely made doll. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the thumb won't stay in her mouth. I'm not sure if the arm is just a smidge too short or if it is the way it is stitched on, but as soon as you take your hand away, the thumb pops out. A bit of a disappointment, but I'm sure my daughter will still love it!

They bring me back a lot of memories, I used to have them when I was little, they're so beautiful and well made, good size too, very happy with my purchase!
