Carson Coaster Square 4 Piece Coastal Wood Home Decor

These have a porcelain feel to them and will be porous and absorb sweat from cold glasses perfectly. They are beautifully printed and cork backed so they don't scratch tabletops; however, we did take a chance on ordering these as other reviewers showed how they broke in transit b/c they were poorly packaged. Fortunately, ours did NOT break but that was just luck. They were just packed in a plastic bag, no bubble wrap! no protective air pillows! Nothing to stop them from breaking. They were four coasters (lovely) in a cardboard box (think of a deck of cards box except cardboard not plastic coated) and that was just dropped into a plastic bag. Really, really surprising. Happily ours did not break but so surprising there was no care to protect them. We took a chance and were lucky. We will be very happy with them.

I selected these as I saw the word Wood and thought I double checked several times that the material was actually Wood with cork backing. These are actually more of a stoneware with cork backing which I was trying to avoid as I am using them on a glass table which I do not want the table damaged should one be dropped. Having said that, they are very pretty so I'll keep them, but am hoping I do not regret it as I do not want the table damaged.

High quality coaster set. They are durable and absorb the moisture left by cups protecting my tables! I love the design on each. Gives a pop of color to the room. Easy to wipe off!
