Miller 264575 PAPR System with T94i-R Welding Helmet

I weld in a shop and use this 40 hrs. a week. It works better than a respirator. I literally smell about 95% less fumes/smoke when I wear this. The only downfall I guess would be if you have to crawl through tight spaces to weld. I have had to do this many times, and it can be annoying when it gets snagged on something and you are in a hurry trying to get the job done.

just down fall it has a green lens & not a blue lens like Lincoln helmets. I have both a Miller n Lincoln helmets with grind shield but I prefer using a Lincoln electric helmet only because it has blue lens to see clearly when welding or when you’re about to position yourself to run a good bead. I can say I like miller don’t get me wrong only wish the blue lens came with it.

My employer purchased this hood for the welders and it is fantastic, I mainly use it when I have to FCAW and this hood keeps me comfortable and it’s clear to see my work with.

My only critique is that the shade of the hood is more green than blue. I hope miller comes out with a truer blue shade lens for this. Everything else is top notch and functional. Very comfortable hood.
