It was fun to do, but the directions were a bit lacking. Had to find a YouTube video to figure out exactly what to do.

Be aware that even though two llamas are pictured, the quite small box has only materials for one llama. ( unless you divide it into smaller items)

My teen seemed kinda sad. I had to work the next day and I wanted to give her not only something that would keep her mind busy, but cheer her up. When I texted her from work the first time she was so excited Amazon came. When I texted her the second time, she emoji-d the sad face that this was too hard..... Are the instructions super easy? I need to sit down with her and read them.

I’ve been wanting to try felting for over a year now and this seems to be the perfect kit to start with. The project is a pretty simple basic design for beginners. The kit includes stet-by-step instructions with full color pictures for each step. Although there is a QR code for a tutorial, the video is a sped up time-lapse with no verbal instruction provided. The description under the video says it tells you how much material to use for each set, but that doesn’t actually occur in this video. You’ll have to do a visual gauge of how much to use for each step. The video also uses different types of multi-needle tools that would speed up you process significantly if they were included in this kit. There are two needles in this kit that are identical very thin, no grips, and sharp points. Those which large hangs, long fingers, and or dexterity issues may find them difficult to use.

All around a fun little project, but not for little kids, the needles are pretty sharp.
