Great for keeping the reptile vivs closed
I've had similar locks on gecko vivs with sliding doors, and was happy to find one for the new snake viv.It will scratch acrylic doors, but works fine for glass ones. I honestly just noticed the scratches today when going to take a pic. I'm guessing the guide for the lock can be tapped down a bit to prevent further damage.I really like these because they stay in place if the animal pushes into it. This prevents the need for regular replacement of the lock (unlike the tension-mounted slide locks which become damaged over time when the animal pushes into it as it moves around)

Perfect!
Perfect for my new sliding glass doors on my ball pythons cage. Fits between the sliding glass panes perfectly. I have a piece of support wood just behind where the 2 pieces of glass overlap in the center and needed something that doesn't stick out and hit the wood. These did the trick perfect fit and lock up perfectly. Nice and tight and don't slip.

Much better than the metal ones that hold on with a screw.
This works great. MUCH better than the metal ones that are held on by a tension screw, which fell off every damn time! Stuck this one on and never had to fiddle with it again. Admirably does it's job keeping my kids out a glass case in my office. I think it looks a lot better than the metal ones too.

Good lock
I typically use these for sliding glass doors on reptile enclosures and they do what they're supposed to do. Easy and quick to install and stick on just fine.

Just what I was looking for
I have Animal Plastic cages and was looking for locks that would work with them, after a couple of fails I saw these on an online forum and decided to try them out. They work so well and look really nice too!

Works As Described - But Wardrobe Door Fail
We purchased this as an option to lock our sliding wardrobe doors to keep the grandkids (and some guests) from having easy access to our mirrored office closet. Obviously someone could take the doors out of their tracks to get in anyway but we're not trying to keep professionals out, just needed something as a deterrent. This lock looks and works very nice, and if you check our photos, it can be bent fairly easily to get around an awkward edge. If the tape would have held it (would not with all the angles WE put in it) it would be great. Again, you are depending on TAPE to keep someone out since that's all that holds it unless you add a screw somewhere. Hence, our fail (as shown in the pics). We thought the open metal end on these doors could survive a screw but somehow our install cracked the entire wardrobe door. You might have better luck and I refuse to give a poor rating because we tried to get too creative. May work perfectly if you have a door without molding (like most wooden closet doors).
