Red Line 15404 SAE 5W40 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil - 1 Quart

Love this oil. It is a little expensive but well worth the money. I use all Redline lubricants for my car and it works very well.

After a little reading I found this oil to be the best. It is a little pricey compared to others out there, but it is an actual full synthetic. I would also recommend this oil if you have a turbo car, it is easier on the turbo.

After some extended research, I came to the conclusion that this Benicia, CA -based oil is the only synthetic oil that is available for purchasing in the US of A. Almost all other "synthetic" oil, even the German-made Pentosin, is actually dino oil that's claimed to be synthetic due to no regulation. Very nice that it is now available for purchasing directly from Amazon.com for a competitive price, ships fast! Runs great in a Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L petrol engine.

I've used redline products for the past 15 years and my bill is about 1 grand a year to keep my cars and trucks filled with their products. Previously I've put the 15-40 in my diesel truck and car, but the 5-40 looks to have even better specs and I will now switch over to the 5-40 for my diesel engines. In colder climates, this oil should be easier on the starter (which I broke on my truck)

I have been trying for a year to get this specific brand of oil. I live in a small Alaska community only reached by air or boat. Yippee I finally got it.

After I tried Castrol OEM oil, Mutol VW specific 5w40. This has the least NVH by ALOT!! The acceleration are much smoother and the engine has ZERO vibration when idle.

Used in my 2008 Porsche Cayenne V8. Could not tell the difference from Mobil 1 or MPT. Subsequently tried a German brand full synthetic motor oil which I preferred.

Pues la entrega segun previsto. Y que puedo opinar sobre este aceite: este es el top de los aceites 5w40 ,a día de hoy no ai nada que lo supere,según prueba de laboratorio. De aquí ya no ai nada ,esto es lo más. Es un aceite full saps,osea no vale para filtro de partículas ,aunque es bajo en cenizas,supera un poco la norma C3 pero bueno ,avra que probar. Sin duda esto es la crema de los aceites.

El aceite muy bueno, pero el envio es carisimo, cosa muy mejorable.

オイル交換後、１ヶ月程経ちましたのでレビューします。まず交換後にエンジンが気持ちよく回るようになりました。また今でも効果が続いています。5000kmくらいまでは大丈夫そうです。冬場なので燃費については何とも言えませんが、また買いたいと思える商品です。
