Tried and proven to clobber varroa mites.
If wearing thick bee gloves when the Heather season is ending, it can be awkward to pull the double strip apart and this holds up the process of installing them into the brood chamber and could result in some chilling of brood. The system then requires a second pair of hands while doing a number of colonies at a time.

Easy to Use
Usually I use Apivar as they say that Apistan may allow mites to build up a resistance to the chemical. Anyway I found the strips to be very easy to use ..,. they are thin and pliable and are easily inserted between the frames and locked off on the top bar. Very pleased that I purchased them
