This actually works well. I know audio and video gear on a professional level. This device literally took a VHS VCR composite video (yellow connection) and stereo audio connections (red and white) into it then put out an HDMI signal tht I plugged directly into 1 of the spare inputs into my smart RoKU TV and it played just fine, picture is still old school VHS quality so it WILL NOT make the original VCR picture quality better or bump it up to an HD type of quality but it WILL make your old analog video playback device/equipment be able to play on anything that has HDMI inputs. and if the TV has a USB connection that it can use for power it is even more convenient.

I have some older devices that I still use that are composite Video. I just purchased my 3rd RCA to HDMI adapter and rushed to try it on a TCL 32" Roku TV. It worked perfectly. Not sure what else I can tell you. Great value for money. No idea why they still put a 720p switch on it... I only ever use 1080p. Easy to connect and install and such a low cost. Definitely recommend. (I have one on an old Sega Dreamcast and 2 others on 2 security camera screens). And yes I have the Sega to HDMI adapter which is better quality BUT some of the old Sega games don't work on the higher res screen so my system is setup so I can switch to either but for simplicity, the composite is the default.

Has to be jiggled around to get it to work sometimes but it's a cheap little converter so can't expect perfection for the price.

Works great, easy to install. Only downside is you must have your own micro USB wire and adapter plug.

Good product I can play my Wii game

The darling little devils that reside under my roof where so pleased that I finally caved in and purchased a big screen TV that just about takes up the entire living room wall. There enthusiasm came from the fact they've been playing there Wii games on a 21" flat screen set on there bedroom dresser and now have the ability to move up in the world and play there game opponents who will appear as tall as they are. PROBLEM: This new wall size TV comes equipped with every high tech input with the only exception being the old school RCA input jacks. You could imagine the looks on there poor little faces when I had to inform them there game console was so old it was not able to connect to the new wall size TV. You'd a thought their dog died. Well, at 9:00 am with credit card in hand I fire up the old laptop ang spew my problem to the world wide net. Low and behold, Amazon jumps up first and came to my rescue. There right in front of my eyes I see my savior, the Amtake RCA to HDMI converter. It not only fulfilled my needs but included a short demo video showing the unit installed and operational on the exact Wii game console, and for less than $10.00 Thanks to Amtake, Amazon and a couple more bucks for shipping, by 3:00 pm that same day the little devils turned to angels, thanking there new found hero (me) for saving there world. Thank you Amtake for making a user friendly, fully functional product, and at a great price. I'm definitely sending out the call to all my old school friends, that when faced with a similar situation, to call on Amtake. MP

It is mostly good for old DVD players, I really thought it would work for my GameCube so I had a lot of hope for it. Unfortunately it doesn't improve the graphics of my old games from the GameCube as it's still blurry. Still good for old DVD players though.

My Wii can finally be used! the connectivity is really good and it is very easy to set up. The power cord works pretty well as long as you have a cube to plug it into a wall socket. On use it was clear picture and worked very well!
