Charming new story!
I'm a bit of a Paddington purist so "new" stories make me pause. However, I couldn't be more thrilled with this DARLING story - absolutely true to the character's charming knack for getting into comical misunderstandings, beautiful illustrations, and perfect for my kindergartener to read on her own. When Paddington accidently shaves off a large chunk of a man's hair, the solution he comes up with to "fix" it has my 5 year old girl rolling on the floor with laughter every time!

Hit the jackpot
I bought this book for my 6 year old grandson. He is fascinated with barbershop. He reads the boo every day. Drives his Dad crazy. Win win😏

The illustrations bring Paddington to life!
Charming story and preciously developed by illustrator R.W. Alley. This is yet another keeper (but which isn't)!

Barber Shop Story!
The bear Paddington is in an apprentice at a barber shop! But, it’s an interesting story with great illustrations! I bought this book for my girlfriends son and he loved it!

Worst Paddington story ever…incoherent and scary
The plot was incoherent and it got kinda ‘scary’ for my 3 years old - paddington shaved a customers hair off and the graphic was gross. Now my 3 y/o hates getting a haircut now.

This story is horrible
Story doesn't make sense and has horrible closure even for a 1st grader. Spoiler - Paddington gets in trouble as usual but this time he royally messes up this guy's hair at the barber shop while taking a part time job then they guy forgets and buys a lot of the antiques and Paddington and Mr. Gruber celebrate the success over cocoa. My child was utterly confused and I had no excuses except to tell him this book is horrible. Don't spend any money on this book and don't even rent it for free which is the only thing I did right when I touched this book.
