Best wire strippers of this kind on the market IMO
I've used a LOT of different wire strippers from the "cheap" Kleins to expensive and large Milwaukee's etc. and IMO, these are THE best. I love the angled grips and the overall length of grips gives good leverage for cutting up to 10-3. I've noticed that doing residential and stripping of 14-2 up to 10-3 all day my hands are MUCH less fatigued and sore at the end of the day so I think the angled grip and added leverage really helps the tool do the work instead of just brute strength. I keep several pair in my truck in case I loose a pair and to date, even having cut a hot/N together on accident the jaws are still fine, no weld cuts or holes/pits in the jaws after my idiot mistake and they still cut like new.

Pro electrician review
I do commercial/resi work. These are my favorite strippers. Comfortable ergo handles that don't slip. Don't break the bank in terms of cost. A wide range of wire sizes. Happy with build quality, price and durability. I replace them every 2-3 years depending on the abuse they receive.

Professional's choice
This is the stripper that you can carry in your pocket all day, and it doesn't make your leg sore. Its grips are comfortable and ergonomically efficient. The stripping holes are the right sizes for most jobs, and somehow have precise enough sizing to make a complete cut through the wire insulation without scoring the wire. The cutter, though a bit on the short side (which helps get your grip closer to the work surface), also works well and with a minimum of effort. It has 6-32 and 8-32 screw cutters. and the hinge bolt seems to stay put without loosening or seizing up; it stays tensioned appropriately. I have been an electrician for almost 20 years, and I have purchased this tool repeatedly ever since I discovered it. There are other strippers that are heavier and have more features, but this is the practical choice for everyday use.

Check your local supplier for price before buying. but great strippers
Best strippers i have used. Cheaper from my local supplier then what i paid on amazon. So knocked a star off. drunk buy, but still worth it, as they fit my hand well and seem to hold up to stranded 12 and 14 thhn on the daily. And been couple weeks.

Hit or miss
Order 2 and return the one that's lose before opening. They are hit and miss but can tell if the idk what's call pivot screw is gonna come lose or not. Just see if it has play before taking out packaging. Once that starts to get lose never really can trust em not to nick the wires

This strips wire better than any other brand I've tried.
I just got these and stripped some wire I had in my shed. I'm a certified electrician. I've been in the trade 18+ years and I was given a pair of 45-120 T-strippers as an apprentice. They're still sharper than my Klein strippers despite being older, but I lost the spring and they're worn. So I decided to get a pair of these. My advice: don't waste your money on any other manual wire stripper. Ideal makes a top class wire stripper.
