I liked how fast we leave the school setting and get to getting the kids involved with the bloodsuckers that have upended their lives, and, additionally, how we get to see the fruits of their teamwork. While everyone remains true to themselves, acting as their personalities would canonically have them, they do act in surprising ways when their friends are put in the line of danger. I like this glimpse of how they can act in a team and without Guren's supervision. It will be interesting to see where things go from here. The next volume has the potential to surprise as Yoichi may in fact get to see the same bloodsucker that tormented his sister way back when and Yu may meet Mika....wow. There are also some interesting things with the art, like Ferid and Guren seemingly having some sort of connected...was there a prior meeting? As usual there is a color insert in the volume, as well as chibi art, detailed visual glossary, and an afterward. Review: Good condish - Good condish

The most important thing to know would be the series and how good it is
I love this series it was to be one of my top 3. The series is actually really good and I recommend you read it, the art is amazing as always, and I love the mini poster inside. The love how we get to see more of Mika even if it’s just a little I’m also super excited for vol 4 this volume is actually really good and I have to admit I’ve grown on the characters a bit so I have to buy another volume.

Good continuation of this series!
This is the 3rd volume in the Seraph of the End series. There was actually quite a bit of action in this volume but I found it strangely slow. This was my least favorite volume in the SotE series so far and I am struggling to pinpoint why exactly. Maybe it was because there was less story progress and more battles? Yuichiro and crew journey to their first vampire execution only to find that the city of Shinjuku is under attack. Little does Yu know that his best friend from childhood, Mika, is fighting on the vampires’ side. The illustration is very well done and I enjoyed seeing Yu and crew go on their first vampire execution. There are some interesting new characters added and it was intriguing to see the world beyond the city where Yu underwent training. I do absolutely love that there is a “story thus far” summary at the beginning and that all the characters and their histories/stories are also listed. This is so helpful to the reader and I really appreciate it being included. Overall I enjoyed this volume of SotE but not as much as previous volumes. I do look forward to seeing what happens next and plan on continuing the series.

Great Series. If you are an Attack On Titan fan you will enjoy Seraph of the End. Its like Attack on Titan but in a modern setting with vampires instead of titans.
