taste is great

This black raspberry powder is delicious, soft and powdery and as dark as the berries are. I admit I went to another cheaper brand but it's not good at all so I'll be ordering this again. I've learned my lesson and will be buying this brand from now on. I wish it was cheaper but won't get a cheaper imitation again.

Expensive product but worth it in a world full of processed foods that poison us.

I was hesitant to purchase this brand over another because the Amazon listing did not indicate that it was Organic or NON-GMO so I bough both brands to compare. They are both Organic & NON-GMO Whole Super Foods. They both seem to be of top quality without any fillers or artificial junk in them.I like the honesty of this brand slightly better, the serving size is more honest which is 8 grams, the other brand the serving size is 100 grams and they say eat a quarter cup a day which means it cost slightly more than gold for a days serving and even harder to figure out how much calories in a freaking teaspoon of the stuff.So I give this brand 5-Stars and the other Brand 4-Stars.BTW. I mix in blender 1 Teaspoon of Bilberry powder & 1 Teaspoon of Black Raspberry Powder with one scoop of protein powder (50g Vanilla Gnarly Meal), 2 Ounces of Sambazon, and 8 Ounces of Organic Valley Whole Grass Milk. It makes the best Protein Shake Ever @ 350 Calories & 35g of protein!

Without a doubt, this is a quality product. We've been buying a variety of berry powders from different vendors (raspberry, maqui, blueberry, aronia (chokeberry), etc.) and this one is by far the best tasting. This product makes a healthy, morning smoothie taste great. I am sure it would make great tea or make anything that you would want the benefits of blackberries taste great. However, I really didn't pay attention to the weight content. I just looked at the package and still thought the price was way to high for this product. When I received it I was really thinking the price was way too high for the small package. I am sure it takes a lot to harvest, dry, etc. to get this powder, but goodness it is too expensive. Would love to buy more but haven't decided whether I will or not just because of the cost.

Really like this raspberry powder as it has a nice flavor.

I love raspberries, in-particular black raspberries. Unfortunately, while this powder is tasteful, it tasted much more like red raspberries, not the rich fullness of what is black raspberries. I got it to add to my smoothies, but i think adding in black raspberry jelly or jam would get me a more rich and truer black raspberry flavor, which is quite distinct from the red raspberries. I will certainly continue to use up the powder as it is convenient, but just not what i would consider a true black raspberry flavor
