High SierraSki Bag and Boot Bag Box Set -

Ordered for transporting skis in car. Works fine for what I use it for. Just fyi not padded.

I bought it so I could bring my skis across the country on a plane, so much cheaper than shipping them. It worked perfectly. (I did wrap them in my sleeping bag inside the carrier)

This bag is 200cm. That's 6'5" feet. You can fold over the top into the top strap so that it's not flopping around. When I pulled it out of the box it looked almost wide enough to fit a snowboard, but when I put my skis in and tightened the straps it fit my skis and poles fine. You might be able to put in a second pair, but I have not tested this. The handle on the bag is enough to get your arm into to hold on your shoulder, but not large enough to go across your chest to wear. You can also hold the bag in your hands but for some reason the bag will tilt with the weight of the ski binding, so you're forced to wear it on your shoulder. Neither bags are padded, so if you need more protection then throw some clothes in there. The boot bag is exactly that with no bells and whistles or pockets. I wear a size 27.5 and there is more room to fit up to a size 30. There was enough room to store socks, hat, goggles, thermals and waterproof pants/jacket. Both bags are well made and are of good quality especially considering the price when compared to notable snow sport brands. Have used them locally a few times as well as a 4 day ski trip to Banff. The Banff trip included 4 flights, transferring baggage, loading and unloading at airports as well as the various resorts we visited while there. Aside from some abrasion from the flights, the bag have held well without any rips or tears.The stitching is reinforced to handle heavy gear and there is plenty of room in both to carry more than just their intended gear. I was able to fit my helmet along with my ski boots in the boot bag and even though I only own one pair of skis, I'm certain the ski bag could hold two pair as well as poles. The strap at one end of the ski bag allows you to keep your skis taut within the bag without the extra material flopping around. I was able to pack all my clothes and gear between both bags without having to carry any other luggage. My skis are about 186 cm and there was ample room for other soft odds and ends to pack the ski bag full.

I just bought new skis and wanted to protect them with a bag. The ski shop wanted more than $150 for a boot/bag combo. Then I saw this set for about 1/5th that price. While it seemed too good to be true, it was the same brand as the more expensive bag. Admittedly it has no special pockets or gimmicks. But it seems very equal to the task. The zipper is good quality. My 177 cm skis have room to spare (with the poles in with the skis). And the boot bag holds my size 13’s, plus helmet, goggles and gloves. At this price I’m very pleased.

You get what you pay for. This thing is basically one giant sack of fabric for one set of skis and poles with handles and a two outside cinches. The boot bag fits my boots (25.5), helmet, and gloves. Not a bad deal for $40. The next set, which is padded, costs twice that.I wouldn’t dare fly my skis with this, but for carrying them in the car and storing them at home, it gets the job done.

I’m able to fit my skis, poles, boots, helmet, and goggles into this bag combo with relative ease. At the end of a day of shredding I just unzip the bag to let it air out. Dries nice and quickly and leaves no dampness or mildew. Not to mention it’s really cool looking on top of it. Definitely a good inexpensive ski/boot bag combo.

Product as described, works as expected. I added a plastic insert to the bottom of the boot bag to give it some rigidity made all the difference when carrying the bag with heavy ski boots in it. Just what my son needed to carry his new ski boots, gloves, etc.

Went to a used store and couldn't find anything near as nice for this price point. Worth it.

For the price I was not expecting this to be such good quality material and sturdy, compared to others on the market & it was delivered earlier than expected!!

Quick delivery and a decent product - as described. Great for basic transport and protection of the skis/boots while in my vehicle or on ski bus trips.Pro: I was able to easily fit my Mondo 29.5 boots (men US size 11.5 shoes), as well as my helmet, goggles and gloves in the boot bag. I was also able to snuggly fit two pairs of downhill skis in the bag.Con: The only thing lacking I believe is a "shoulder strap" for the bags. You have to carry a bag in each hand. Although the boot bag appears to have two nylon loops where you can perhaps attach "your own" shoulder strap.

These make going to and from the ski hill so easy. The kids can carry their own equipment now. Should have bought these years ago!
