This owl book os so beautiful. It’s well made and I bought it as a gift. It was very well received. I like that it’s not handmade paper.

Love the leather cover and deckled edges. It will work well for my daughters ‘magic cookbook’😉

Nice little notebook, I bought the smallest one, and since receiving it I think I should have bought a larger one. The embossing is good, would have liked to have seen a the front/back cover have a bit or reinforcement. Nice paper, though Im not sure how long the binding will last, seems like it may not last long enough for me to fill the pages, but only time will tell. My 9 year old daughter loves it, she couldnt wait to draw in it. I think I will probably order a larger one and give her the smaller one to draw in. Overall, good product so far, would make a fun gift for someone that likes to travel or write

I purchased this journal as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She was so happy to get this journal. She loves owls, and the 2 owls embossed (or whatever) on the front of the journal are just so cute.Happy granddaughter!!!

This is really quite a lovely little book. The leather seems solid and well-made, and I didn't have any of the scent issues other reviewers mention. The latch is not a strong latch, but its not too flimsy, either. The details on the outside of the leather binding are beautiful. The unlined pages are made of sturdy and thick paper, which will stand up to pen well and possibly even marker.A few words of caution: The way the pages are bound into the leather means you must be gentle when handling them. This is not a spiral-bound book to be casually ripped open and abused. Also, the listing says 200 pages. I counted the pages in mine. Counting both sides of the paper, I only have 168. That is significantly smaller space to work with! Still giving it four stars because of its elegant design and that it suits my purpose quite well.

It looks better than the pictures. Exceed expectations. I got it as a gift for a friend and she loved it. Now I want one.

Material bom, muito bonito

I'm editing my review as I just sat down to write in my journal which is made perfectly and very impressive but you are only able to write on one side of the paper as the latch on the front makes it impossible to lay the pages down. It's advertisrd as having so many pages because they say you can write on both sides but that is not correct and I'm pretty sure they'd know this. It arrived late. I'm not sure what happened as it said it had been shipped and to be expected for delivery today(Being in that day) but when it didn't arrive I enquired and suddenly it hadn't even been shipped. Then it made it's easy 2 days later so who knows.

Some people say or use the word "Leather" in the description of their items but are actually made of a synthetic material. This not one of those items - it really is made of leather (even the pages have leather bindings through them) - so much so - that it was probable wrapped just after being put together - as it still had the strong smell of curing. So for anyone buying this item (which I highly recommend) be sure to open/unwrap it in a well ventilated room and allow it a day or two to air itself out. As I said I highly recommend this product for anyone who would like to keep a diary or journal with a uniqueness to it. My wife loves it - in particular - as the relief on the leather is that of owls.
