I bought my Perry Braces Men's Tall Elastic Hook End Braces after getting fed up with spring clip braces constantly pinging off and nearly taking my eyes out.I literally am a belt and braces man and these braces aren't cheap at nearly £23.50 but they work well. I wear equipment on my belt and carry heavyish tools in the pockets of my cargo trousers. To stop my trousers falling down I would have to cinch my belt uncomfortably tight, hence the reason for adding braces. This combination is completely reliable and extremely comfortable. The braces are easily adjustable with sliders. The plastic clips hook under the belt and are held in place by the tension on the braces. The plastic tongues on clips are flexible and shaped to press onto the belt and this is where I think an improvement could be made. It is quite easy for the clip to slip off the belt when dropping your trousers for any reason, without going into too much detail. My usual trouser belt is 1¾" / 36mm wide and the tongue is 1" / 25mm long. If the tongue was long enough to go over the belt completely and a step put on the end of it, it would stop the clip slipping off altogether.However, this would not stop me buying another pair or recommending them to anyone else and I would never go back to clip on braces.

I decided it was time for me to lose a few pounds, so I bought some hiking boots, and hiking trousers, and got out into the great outdoors. Unfortunately - due to my huge belly - my trousers kept slipping down to my hips (even with a belt) and I kept having to hoik them up every mile or so. I looked at different types and brands of braces/suspenders on the Web and decided to try these ones. The flat hooks that clip onto your belt are robust plastic, and don't dig into you, and can also be undone quickly - even with thick gloves on - if you need the public loo when out and about, unlike the fiddly clips or buttons on other braces.The adjusters on the front straps are also robust plastic that fit flush with the strap and doesn't dig into you. They are very comfy and keep my trousers where they should be until such time as my belt can do the job on its own. So if you want to lose weight, but not your trousers - get these.

These braces are high quality and strong. I find them comfortable to wear and they do the job

These are the best suspenders available. A simple but very effective system. No clips to slip or damage cloth simply a very neat clip to the belt arrangement. The belt is required to wear these and hence the support is via the belt loops on the trousers which are more evenly spaced that the three points of braces connection hence a more equal support that is comfortable and fully adjustable.Brilliant job worth every penny.

Do the job they're meant to do

These are my second pair, super product, easy to use and a lot better than the usual type which can damage your trousers and fall off.

This product is exactly like it says "on the tin" - The belt-clips work better than expected and the product is good quality - these already are my suspenders of choice after 4 days - all my others being tossed out!
