Build quality not as good as with previous products
I bought the single rack more than a year ago. I'm about to buy the double rack version. We have a performing arts group. I built a simple wood shelf for the bottom for my single rack. I use it for the PA, stage monitors, two suitcases of cables and mics, mixer, and a few other things. I hang the costumes on the top. Loaded, the rack is carrying well over 100 lbs, maybe 150. I then wheel the loaded rack from my car in the lot to the performance area, and back again after the show. The rack is very sturdy and has never given me trouble. It assembles and comes apart in about a minute. The wheels are commercial grade. The hanging rod on mine is a single rod, not two piece. I'm quite satisfied with the build quality and as I wrote, and I'm about to order the double version.I received the double garment rack and have now used it. I am disappointed. The build quality has been degraded from the single rack I reported on above. The thickness of the tubing has been reduced. The diameter of the wheel attachment screw is less than on the single garment rack. The nuts are of inferior quality. Each rod the garments hang on is now two sections which fit into each other at the middle instead of a single strong tube. Combined with the thinner tube walls they are substantially weaker than the original and will not carry as much weight. The end extensions are flimsy compared to the original. In my opinion this rack could not carry 250 pounds unless it was judiciously distributed.Keep in mimd I use this rack as a mobile garment and equipment mover from my vehicle to the venue. I may be rolling over asphalt and uneven surfaces. The single rack works extremely well for this. The double does not seem to be designed for this kind of heavy duty use. I would not trust it as a rolling mover carrying much weight. When I used the double in a stationary position just to hold garments, it performed very well, but I still have my doubts as to it being able to support 250 pounds. If you need a double garment rack to store garments or roll them over carpet this may work well for you. But if you need something to double as a kind of cart carrying garments over rough and uneven surfaces as I do, his may not be what you want.

One of the best things I have bought on Amazon!
It is a bold statement to say this garment rack is one of the best things I have bought on Amazon, when I have hundreds of purchases over many years. But this item deserves such high accolades. I needed a portable clothing rack to move hanging clothes during a major remodel that we have just begun on our home. The 2 flimsy ones I had in my garage from past garage sales and family members moving in when their house flooded during Hurricane Harvey were not up to the task. They collapsed within a day of loading them up. I needed to buy a new one and settled on this model because of the many 5 star reviews. It came fast, and I put it together even faster! It was so easy to snap together, but still so sturdy. The wheels are significant in size and maneuverability. I am so impressed with this rack I am here to buy another one. The price is so great for the quality of this item. I give it a big THUMBS UP!!

THIS RACK IS THE TRUTH!!!! VERY STURDY AND EASY TO ASSEMBLE!!!
The garment rack is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. After reading the description, I selected this rack due to the amount of weight that it is said to hold. I have bought other racks in the past and they have totally sucked because they break down or lean as soon as you'd hang one too many pieces of clothing on it. I was prepared for this rack to give me the same results, HOWEVER, it surpassed my expectations.I used my own weight to check the sturdiness of this rack before I used it to hang my clothes. Although I am not 250 pounds, I am aprox 150 and I managed to do pull-ups on this clothing rack using my body weight and I was impressed!!! This rack did not move, bend, or tilt. I was satisfied that it could handle my pull-ups, so I went ahead and hung my clothes on it. I have a few coats hanging on the ends of each side where the rack extends, just to make sure that the rack remains balanced. I have used about 3/4 of the space so far and I am not having any problems. The rack is pretty mobile due to the wheels, although it gets a bit stiff when it is filled with clothes (but that should be expected). I cannot say that this rack holds 250 pounds, but I am most certain that it can hold at least 150lbs without any problems whatsoever! I am going to purchase another one!

Good Heavy Garment Rack
I owned a $35+ unit before, but I think THIS rack will be worth every extra penny. Versatile and durable for its light weight. Large wheels make it easy to maneuver. No solid shelf on lower platform but unit is so sturdy, a shelf can be added. My upholstery fabrics hang with ease and no wobbling or dangling on the floor. My 4 & 5yr old grandsons even took it for a test spin around the basement and praised its smooth handling and speed (but I wouldn't recommend THAT use! - I was on the phone at the time. Seems like that's when most "testing" happens).I measured the DecoBros for any interested buyers: Base: 42"x22" if wheels are positioned even with bars; widens at 13" off floor where vertical bars bow out; full vert ht: 69.5" from floor (wheels/wells 5.5" high); top bar length - 47.5" between vertical bars w another 1" past vertical bars. Then full 12" extenders on each side. That's about 70" useable hanger space excluding vertical bar joints. 1-inch diameter chrome bars are really sturdy. The verticals snap together like small vacuum cleaner metal tubes, and have a couple holes for height choice. I have mine at max, but I could shorten it 5inches to the lower hole if I wanted.Grampa let the boys help him build it thinking we would have a nice long project to keep them busy. It took minutes. Even with the boys' help.I'm really happy with this purchase and may invest in another for winter coats. Very strong and stable. I disassembled the cheapo unit to use for parts because I can't trust it to be a safe hotrod if the boys find it.
