Perry Mason: Seven Complete Novels Hardcover – July 19, 1994

I like this book because of the writing style, it was good. After looking at sooo many Perry Mason hourly television programs, I wanted to check the programs with the book. So far, I have found one since purchasing the book. Getting back to reading hardbacks again.

Was a gift to a fan of the genre.

Erle Stanley Gardner for many years was the best selling writer in America. This was the case even though he dictated most of his 80-some Perry Mason novels and had the writing style of a garden hoe. But the fact is Garden knew how to move the story along through dialog, with little or no narrative description, and as a trial lawyer for 20 years he was meticulous in his courtroom scenes. This is not the best selection of the Perry Mason novels, but The Case of the Terrified Typist and The Case of the Glamorous Ghost are among Garner's better novels. For the price, you can't beat this collection.

This book is second-hand. Except for a little wear on the jacket, it would pass as brand new. Good service, good product.

I've read only one Perry Mason book 📖 before this and this one is just as good.

Sometimes I like to read the hard copy of the book.

If you've never read Erle Stanley Gardner, this is a great way to start. The stories are deeper and far more interesting than the TV series, of course! That's not to say that the TV series didn't stick with the spirit of the stories; they did a pretty decent job as far as it went. if you like old fashioned mysteries with a clear line of right and wrong, good and evil, you'll like these.
