Works well but only on certain hitches

Did the job, no noise or moving around on a 2,300 mile trip.

Hitch stabilizer works great and less moving is better when towing.

I have only put this on to check if it tightens up the hitch which it seems to do. i expect that it will work for towing. You do need to replace the washers though. If you want a lock washer to work, you can not use a flat washer with it. The flat washer will slip and allow the nut to loosen. That is why some of the users find they have to keep checking for the nuts to come loose. I expect that the person who broke the u-bolt and bent the bracket was way over tightening the nut to eliminate the loosening problem. I also do not like the split lock washers use with slots as the split can end up in the slot and then do not work. I changed to wedge lock washers (see Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VAW4MY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) We used these at work when we had bolts coming loose and never had a problem again. It takes more torque to loosen the nut than used to install the nut. These washers come lightly glued together so that they are installed properly. It is a two piece lock washer and I have seen mechanics reverse then and install them incorrectly. Just did 600 miles with this and my utility trailer. Not one rattle and the nuts did not loosen at all with the lock washers that I used.

This has to be one of my best automotive purchases! I bought it to use when I'm running my flag pole behind my car and, for me, it has worked perfectly. While using this and running my flag, I have noticed a significant reduction in vibration noises and side to side sway. With it standing up to the forces of a flag flying behind my car while I'm driving, I would have to say that this is a very sturdy product that will last me years to come! I'll give it an 8.9/10 value for money and overall recommendation score!

Great item. Easy to install and hakes sure that there is no sway. Fits great and I haven’t heard a rattle.
