This detachable coupler is very strong. Ive dropped it a couple times and no separation. I did put wd-40 in it so its easier to open.

These are more robust than I expected
I wasn't sure what to expect, but these are excellent! A bit on the pricey side in my opinion, but they feel solid, they function as they should, the mechanism is smooth and they do not feel like they are going to fail anytime soon. I purchased these for memory sticks. I have a tendency of losing memory sticks so I thought a giant keychain would help...but a giant keychain hanging off my computer isn't the best. These were the perfect solution. I can detach the memory stick as needed then reattach the giant keychain with a fast click. They feel robust enough that I don't worry about losing the memory stick, or the keychain :) I'm happy with this purchase.

1 the the 3 female locking mechanisms are a bit stiff and 1 was broken altogether
