Oem Toyota Fj Cruiser Hitch and Harness Kit

The hitch and wiring fit perfect. Wish the wiring instructions explained better where the location of the remote flasher relay was located. Other than having to remove the bumper skin to install the top two bolts in the hitch it was easy. Nice that everything was oem.

This fit perfectly and went on without issues. There are step by step instructions to install it which could have been printed a little more clearly but nothing that a little youtube search couldn't help with. It looks amazing and the quality is exactly what we were looking for. Already used to to haul and it is sturdy! 10/10 completely recommend!

Did it myself in less than an hour. Quick YouTube to assist with the less than stellar directions. One word of advice, try different bolt pattern sequence as shown in directions as one bolt did mange to strip a bit. Partially my fault for not having the proper setting in torque wrench but the direction sequence didn’t quite line up as easy. Either way it’s good and have towed with it. I may pop the panel and throw a small tack weld by the suspect bolt but not really worried about it. Easy as I gets and great price for DYI

The tow hitch assembly wasn’t welded together correctly so one of the holes did not line up properly. I have a machine shop so once diagnosed the problem was a drill out to next (standard) size...most people will not have a drill or drill bit this size to tackle the fix.

The box comes with instructions on bolt the receiver hitch (I recommend following the bolting pattern), and there are plenty of Youtube videos for you to get a better idea as well. I installed this towing kit on my 2007 FJ, and it was straightforward. I did not have to run additional wires other than what comes with the towing package.

Installer said it was a blessing i got the full oem tow hitch kit for toyota fj because it was so quick-and-ez compared to all the other hitches he installed where he had to custom-fashion the wiring and other parts simply to make things work. But this kit has everything u need indeed, which reduces ANY and ALL uncertainties. Twas a bit hard initially to align and screw-in the main bolts w/o cross-threading but i Love how this hitch mounts to the chassis frame instead of the rear bumper.
