Q: Could a person use this like regular spray paint without a striping machine?

Not very well. The can must be inverted to dispense the contents and usually is triggered with a stripping machine or single can holder to strip where a machine will not go or freehand. The machine and pole holder has a pull trigger mechanism that operates the spray nozzle while in the inverted position. Paint also comes out thick. All this makes it hard to use like a spry can of paint.

Q: Would this work to cover up green spray paint on a black paved driveway that we want to look black again? Thanks!

It will spray over the green, but you may have a black streak that stands out against your pavement, depending on how faded it is.

Q: How many feet of coverage per can?

When a use it i make multiple coats, but for just refinishing an existing painted surface of the same color, then square feet coverage is much greater, other wise about 2' wide by about 10" on bare concrete.

Q: What kind of tip does it have

It is a long tip, to fit inside a striping sprayer. Something like an inch long. It made to spray inverted.
