Jolie Extra Long-Wear Cake Eyeliner (Black)

This eyeliner is Fantastic! Color loads up brilliantly on my eyeliner brush by that I mean I get intense creamy color on my brush that applies effortlessly. One and done. I’m a 60 year old woman that had given up eyeliner because cake liner is so hard to find. Using eyeshadow as a liner was “okay” but would fade out ir wear off unevenly. Eyeliner with the “applicators” in the cap have useless brushes or worse, felt tips and I was never satisfied with the fluidity of a fine yet intense line. This works beautifully on the back up line and the tight line too! Tip from back in the day? Buy your eyeliner brush in the art supply store or isle. Pricey but you’ll only buy it once because it holds up to being cleaned thoroughly with alcohol. The color stays as perfect by end of day as it was in the morning.

I love this eye liner! The first order I got arrived as a powdery mess, but I returned it and was sent another. It was wonderful. The color is great! It goes on smoothly and is opaque enough that one swipe over my lid is enough. I like it better than any cake eye liner I've ever used, and I've been lining my eyes since 1964. I was considering buying another 2-3 in case they stop making it like Clinique did. Unfortunately, when I went to put it on this morning, I found that the cake had cracked into 4-5 pieces. I will handle it very gently and continue to use it. Hopefully, it will not break down more and become a powdery mess.

Did Clinique ruin your day when they discontinued their cake eyeliner? Me too. I've tried 3 from Amazon so far, and so far this is the best. This came in the exact same case as one of the losers, which had me a bit apprehensive, but the product is definitely different. It's not exactly Clinique but I think it's as close as we're going to get.

I ordered this to use as a cake eyeliner. It worked very well before. I would wet my brush and it would go onto my brush nicely, and glide smoothly onto my eyelid. But it seems they've changed the formula because now it will not stay wet when I apply my wet brush to it. It stays dry and goes on to my brush in flaky pieces of dust, which then crumbles off my eyelid, making a mess on my face. I sure wish they wouldn't have changed it because now this product is useless to me.

My go-to cake eyeliner has been discontinued so I tried this one as a replacement. It is easy to apply and lasts a long time. I like the brown-black color rather than a harsh all black. It's a nice compact design and should last a long time.

Love the color and how it glides on. You have to blend it in well, keep checking the mirror because it will flake onto your cheeks. I've ordered this several times (this being the last!) For the price, I don't understand why it breaks and turns to dust after a few months. I don't carry it in my purse nor have I dropped it. It just happens.

This is easy to apply and lasts until you wash it off. I like it. The only problem I have is that it crumbles easily and once that happens it is a mess to use. I did reorder a second one and will see if the same problem reoccurs.

I LOVE this eyeliner! It has a nice deep color, goes on smooth and clean, and is truly very long lasting!
