I purchased this for when i travel. I have a Macbook air 13" and when i travel I am always hesitant to do work on flights because of fear of the person sitting next to me seeing my work.I travel long flights for business, NY to Hong Kong, NY to LA and NY to Seattle.I purchased this and it works great, the person sitting next to me can't see my screen at all. While my screen is a little darker than usual with this filter, knowing that the people around me can't see what I am doing is worth the tradeoff

I really like the privacy screen, it does prevent from people sitting next to you to not see what's on your display. I like how there are two options in installation; slide it or stick it. I used the first option (slide it) and just used two rectangular plastic tabs provided to hold the privacy screen when used, instead of all the tabs. The only negativity I can pull out is that you see super thin diagonal lines on display when using the privacy screen, but that is the point of making it difficult to see from the sides. I have a MacBook Air from 2013 and its still working really good. So yea, I'd definitely recommend this privacy screen for sure.

This is for my Mac Air 13" - it fits perfectly within the frame and I only have to use three stick taps to hold it from falling out on closing the lid. It's well protected viewing from the side at 45% angle. Viewing from the top at 45% is not so well protected as you can see from the photo. I still think this is of excellent value as most of the time, you want to prevent prying eyes from people around you looking from the side, vs. looking down directly from the top.

This privacy filter is better than my original 3M product. I do not have to turn the screen brightness up. Offset angle viewing is amazing. Great product and highly recommended.

There are two ways to install it: you can keep it on semi-permanently or slide it in and remove it as needed. I found the second option very convenient. You can't see a single thing on the screen even if you move slightly to one side and stop looking at it head on. I'm glad I bought this simple fix!

This fits perfectly. My screen brightness really is not much affected- I can keep my mac on half brightness per usual and everything looks great. Easy to install, easy to clean (just wipe!) and keeps things private for flights, nosy co-workers, coffee shops, meetings, lecture halls--wherever you may use! Thank you!

Why is it that the screen looks pitch black from the left, but it looks less black from the right? Definitely doesn'y work from behind me. I figured it would allow me to see from up close but anyone a good distance away, even directly behind wouldn't be able to see, but that's not the case.

The size of this screen protector is absolutely form fitted and slips onto the screen like a glove. I've had a lot of great things to say about what screen protector I have on my laptop. No one around the office has ever seen a laptop have a screen protector on it and I may have started a trend in that regard since even my boss, after having seen my laptop, got himself a screen protector for his laptop.
