Drop Trak Cable & Hose Protector Cord Cover - Medium - Yellow

I use these cable protectors for various events from wedding receptions & ceremonies, to outdoor fairs / festivals. This product performs well for the intended application - pedestrian traffic, light vehicle traffic such as Gator & quad. Yellow color stands out well, and tends to make people look where they are walking. As others have mentioned, these protectors arrived with a small amount of warp / curl on the edges & ends. Placing these outside in the sun for an afternoon will help. These protectors will slide on smooth tile, wood, or concrete surfaces. Using gaff tape will help to secure. On carpet, these stay in place fairly well. Again, use of gaff tape for extra security. For the price, I am satisfied. Other companies that I freelance for use Yellow Jacket / Bumble Bee cable protectors. Those will support the weight of semi trucks, with a price around $300.00 and up per section. These are rated up to 900 pounds load bearing per wheel. I personally would not subject this product to that amount of weight. Again, these have performed well for me. I will purchase more in the near future.

We bought this because we charge our car across the sidewalk in Philadelphia. Putting the outlet for the charger on our house versus along the sidewalk saved us lots of time and money with permits, etc. But I don't want to cause any accidents or injuries, so we need to make sure people don't trip over the charger cord. We bought this to take care of it. It works great. Snaps together like those plastic toy bits everyone hates to step on, the channel is the perfect size for the charger cable, it's bright yellow so people can see it, and it lays smooth on the side walk so people don't trip. Worth the price and gets the job done.

These look great and the price is the best I can find. I gave 4 stars because they flex so much. I do understand though that with a 4" wide valley, there isn't much support for weight. When a car drives over this, it flexes in almost 1/4 inch. I'm using audio cables, so that's scary. .. My fix, a bought plain cheap pine 1x1's and slid them in with my cables. So when they flex down, they bottom out on the wood and not the cables. Works perfectly! My main reason for buying these was for the hight, not so much the width, so I'm good. ;-)To be fair with the weight rating though, if you stand and bounce on this, and see the flex, and then drive a car over it and see that flex, there isn't much difference. The car will make it flex more but not by much.I am doing a festival next weekend and will get to test these on big trucks / trailers. And possibly even a fire truck! I'll see what they do on their own, and with the wood 1x1 under it. Who knows, that 1x1 just might make this thing the best deal on the planet! ;)-

I bought 2 of these Hose Protectors to place over the water hose that runs across my driveway to my side yard to prevent the hose from getting damaged when people park their cars in this area. They worked great, except that if someone didn't drive over the correct spot, they would miss the protector and drive over the hose, so I bought 2 more. I am very happy with the results. They are super sturdy and the 4 sections link together well and connect securely so now I have a discreet ramp over my hose to drive on. Wish I had found these a while ago before I had to replace the last hose.

It arrived warped -- the thing is designed to prevent falls but is so messed up that it's actually a tripping hazard

Just had to replace old water hose after several years of use due to too many leaks and repairs. Since the hose has to go across the carport to get to back yard, did not want to put it away after every use. This product looks good, will protect hose and keep folks from tripping. (Just needd to get one more section.)

fit over a 3/4" pvc drain pipe from the furnace to have a safe transition...

I have a walkway that is crossed by three hoses. All the other hose cover products I explored were too narrow, too flimsy, or not designed for outside use.
