We needed a new monitor that had these type of inputs. The new monitor works great and looks professional.

Good video but terrible audio and over-priced
I bought this to replace my still functioning Commodore 1802 CRT monitor that I was using for both a Commodore 128 (via composite video input) and an Atari 800 (via luma/chroma inputs). I was able to get this monitor to work with both using a luma/chroma-to-svideo cable and some creative wiring. The image is crisp and bright. Still tweaking the settings to get the colors a little more exciting, but let's be honest--an LCD screen will NEVER be as vibrant as a CRT.It would have been nice to also have this monitor do audio like my 1802 CRT monitor, but out of the box the right (red) channel didn't work and the left channel sounded like junk, so I had to use a separate set of PC speakers for audio. I'm not going to bother returning the monitor over this as other reviews have also said, its audio is pretty horrendous--even if both channels worked.So all-in-all it does the job, but at $300 and not having decent audio this item is way over-priced. Should be around $150.
