I was buy another brand of sterile dressings from Amazon as they are such great value compared to chemist but this time they were unavailable 😔 I was so annoyed at self for not stock up but these were in suggested alternatives and were actually few pounds cheaper.The previous dressings had been described as non woven and these are described as gauze so I was expecting open weave gauze but they are actually same as previous dressings but cheaper.I’m reorder several boxes now.The dressings are in cardboard box that contains sterile peel packs with 5 dressings in each they are great for cleaning wounds and for placing over sterile non adherent dressings as they absorb light exudate/weeping.They are 4 ply and can be opened out.Although not quite as soft as previous dressings ( which may be why described as gauze 🤔) they are soft and gentle enough for most sensitive wounds.Very happy to have found these as I have to change several dressings everyday.These are such good value, a single pack of 5 sterile dressings is over £1.60 in chemist 😠.
