EMSASamba, Quick Press, Vacuum Insulated Thermal Carafe, 34 oz, Translucent Orange

I've used this carafe daily for over 3 years and it still looks and works like new. It's been dropped on the floor a few times, but the glass interior was well protected by the plastic and never cracked! No problems with leaks. For some reason guests always want to loosen the cap to pour rather than push the button, but it pours well when done correctly. Does not pour well without the cap when the carafe is nearly empty - liquid runs straight from the interior and shoots out over the spout. Just leave the lid on and it works fine. Seals well - as liquid cools it forms a bit of a vaccum and you can hear it pop when opening the lid. Coffee stays drinkably hot all morning, still luke-warm the following day. I have a N_issan stainless vacuum mug that keeps it scalding for hours - this carafe doesn't keep it as hot, but certainly a good drinking temp for me. I will say that I paid less than half the current price back in 2017. Not sure I'd pay half a C-note. It's a great carafe, though...

This is slightly bigger than I was expecting but that's fine by me because then I can make tea less often! First, I love the bright orange. Very cheerful. More importantly, it is LIGHT! I recently developed tendinitis of the wrist and this is not heavy and is very easy to use. This would be lovely for a person with arthritis. Most importantly: it does it's job well! I made tea at 9am and forgot about it and went shopping with my family. I came back at 1pm and poured myself a cup - it was STEAMING hot as if the water had just come out of the kettle. The outside of the carafe stays at room temperature and you'd never think it would be insulating a hot beverage so well. Two tea bags make a perfect pot. This allows me to refresh my forgotten cups of tea around the house and use less teabags. I also love the glass lining because I am sensitive to the metallic taste stainless steel tends to leave in beverages. I might buy one for my Dad because he loves to drink tea too in the colder months and he's just as frugal as I am, constantly reusing tea bags.

It is amazing until the glass pack or gasket malfunctions or breaks. Then it becomes the largest piece of plastic that will hang aorund forever. Good thermos companies have replacements but they don't -- and we tried them directly and they said they coudl translate the page but they don't. I know a bit of german so tried to find replacement parts but they appear to be designed throwaway items! Very disappointing.

Love these coffee carafes! They are very pretty, durable and they keep the coffee hot the entire morning. I make coffee at 6:30 to put out for our guests at our B&B and I’ve found the coffee is still hot at noon when I finally get to sit and relax myself. I will definitely continue to buy these, in all the gorgeous colors.

I didn't ike that you could see the thermos inside from the outside (too translusent) but it does keep our coffee hot

I had foot surgery and I have been non weight bearing for weeks now (5 weeks tomorrow) and I drink a lot of tea, so it has been a hassel to get my tea to my chair or bed or whatever, so I started thinking of a carafe, which can hold much more than a mug. I ordered another carafe and it leaked terribly and so I sent it back and I tried this one! Yes!!!! It is perfect! no leaks, no drips, the top is perfect and it opens and closes with a button on top. It is great. and the price is good too. but also, check out how cute it is with this lovely orange color. This is made in Germany and they seem to know how to do it. no more china for me...

Great hot beverage server. Available in lots of colors, I bought orange. Wish I could have the turquoise and purple too but it's all about color with me. It's not huge but it's very effective. It does have a glass lining so do be careful how you handle this. it does keep things warm for hours!

I have 5 of these but the plastic is very easily broken-the reason they are half the usual price
