Great robust product.
This self sealing tape is great to use on weatherproofing electrical connections. As it is self adhering on itself, it sets really well creating a good weatherproof seal.

Fixed my son's xbox headset with this tape
Pretty good tape! Plenty of stretch to it, I cut a 6" piece and stretched it to just over12". It is self sealing on either side but it can be removed if you need to as long as you have nails and can get it started. I folded a piece of this in half yesterday and left it. I was able to pull it apart and separate it without any problems. Did it again the next day and I was not able to pull it apart. It is not sticky to touch, but does stick to itself easily. I can't compare it to 3m only because I never used 3m, but it is less $$ and works. Large roll should last quite a long time! Made in USA and one side of this roll has a red stripe down the center. We used this to fix my son's xbox headset that apparently has a known manufacturing defect. The headset otherwise works great so we decided to fix it with this tape. It does not "look" great, but it works and fits now. There is no sticky residue anywhere that sticks to his hair either. Best of all, this saves me $100 from buying a new headset. Because this tape is wide and it stretches for a tight fit, this was the perfect tape to use for this particular fix.

Industrial Grade Insulation Tape
It is 0.02" industrial grade insulation tape. I use it to insulate 600VDC, and since it is rated for 15 kV, it may seem overkill, but it gives me a comfort. Also I like it is 2" wide, and it is wide enough to insulate my 1" bus bars. I highly recommend it.I appreciate the seller and manufacture made this type of industrial grade items easily available for general public at competitive price (this was about 10% cheaper than a vendor I use and Prime shipping!).I cannot come up with "if I can change one thing, I would change this..." comment, Since it is almost like raw material and offered at competitive price.

wider is always better!
I used it almost immediately after getting it, and it was perfect! I installed a solar street light on my utility pole for my service drop to my property. The bracket for the solar panel was going to be laying on the 1/4" thick ground cable that goes to the earth. I layered two wraps of this between two wraps of duct tape, and tied it down with tie-wraps, to ensure no grounding would occur. I'm sure I'll need more of this fantastic product, around my place, and it's more than twice as wide as the roll i bought from the big box hardware store a few years back!

Safest way to protect wiring
This tape is perfect for wrapping electrical cables to provide waterproofing, and it doesn’t breakdown over time and never lets loose so I don’t have to worry about replacing. I’ve run electric wiring to move some of my home outlets and wish I had this beforehand, but I will use when I run the electric to my new backlit mirrors and feel good that there is less risk of damage to electric wiring.*** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***
